    My retentions deal:

    *18 month contract
    *No Phone
    *500 mins / 100 texts per month
*£18 for the FULL 18 months - thats £1 per month line rental!

They left it late - only 2 days left before the contract finished - and I had ignmore 3-4 offers in the previous 2 weeks since handing in my 30 days notice.

    BARGAIN!

Did you actually cancel your contract or just ask for a PAC?

And would you have actually gone if they hadn't called you with that offer?

    I've been offered

    Nokia N73
    300 X Network
    150 Text
    25 mins MMS and Video
    £5 download

    All for £18.00 per month

But i'm gonna actually cancel/ask for PAC and see if they can better that deal

My previous contract was 12 months. I cancelled with 30 days to go.

They called me twice to renew - I refused as the best they could offer was £15/month with a crap phone.

The final call came with 2 days left to go. And I get to keep my current mobile number!

Had they not given me this deal, I would have ended this contract, and rejoined on a new 12 month deal with 100% cashback.

My advice to you would be to HAND in NOTICE with 30 days remaining - and refuse all their offers until they give you the UNMISSABLE deal with 2-3 days remaining.

    Go for it Yus!

Thanks. But the problem i have is i NEED to keep my number. So say i give my notice and that 'call' doesn't come - will i be able to ring up and take what ever offer they give me? OR will i have to cancel?

Yus - the thing to do when handing in your notice is request that your number is transferred over to 'Pay As You'.

That way, you keep your number should you require it.

Thats what I did. They will give you the 'but it cost so much to regularly top up' etc etc - but dont give in. Stand firm.

And they will be desperate to keep you.

    Hope that helps
