Onto three it is a strange one, I rang up for my mum who got a w910i and as things have changed since their new tarriffs I agreed to one with them(mix and match) for £30 a month, now he told me I(my mum) was elligable(sp) for three's loyalty bonus of £12 and therefore the contract was/is £18 a month! After reading all about them at the minute I can understand your madness but I rang a few times and just said not interested and will cancel. Now I find that being calm and nice goes a long way when it comes to getting a good deal as if I(in the past obviously) ranted and raved about being a "fantastic customer bla bla bla I honestly think they were taking the piece as a way of getting off on it
Good luck with your retensions people and Lippy if you're on maternity leave perhaps you should stay away from ringing three eh? Don't want you working yourself up now do we you need to look after mini Lippy
I await the next episode with great anticipation
I'll take it that you were just trolling since I've been one of the calmest people on this thread. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.0 -

Make sure and go through Quicdo to get the £80!0 -
hi does anyone if you can upgrade to this
My daughter just rang re upgrading to this deal and was told it was an online offer only, but to ring again on Monday and by then they may have decided to offer it to current customers. She did mention the offer was for the weekend only, but couldn't get any further than ring back on Monday....Northernlights0 -
i think i'm going to go for this, its been 2 weeks since i requested my pac and still no call. do i wait or get this? with quidco and raf etc, i think this would still be better value even if they offered £5 a month for 500 mins.
how long would the process of taking my number across to another network and porting it back take?0 -
Rang back and of course they said no handset free contracts available I'mtotally disgusted and insulted that they continue to say its account specific deals yet can't tell me why mine is pinpointed when I've been a really good customer all these years and pay by direct debit yet my sister wont pay by direct debit, she is always late paying to the extent its been cut off at times untill shes paid again. She got a good upgrade 2 weeks ago. In fact I was told to use the pac code and move if I wanted a better contract this time I rang. I can't tell you how bad that feels when you expect to be valued as a customer and do nothing wrong.
I think they think they are strong enough to do it because people will stay with them. I won't because they have no respect for customers and I wouldn't even start a new contract no way will I allow myself to be treated that waySorry for late reply, unlike your goodself on maternity leave I have been working late so couldn't get on to see if you bit which you did and very nicely to
All comments were said with tongue firmly planted in cheek I am no troll I just find some folks behaviour in life hilarious. Gone are the days of companies valuing customers my sweet, that went out the window years ago and with it being so competetive at the minute I agree you would think they would want your money but obviously not. I would think it is because you rarely go over your allowance so don't really make them any money. I go over mine and always have so the 12 months I renewed at £15 will see them still take £40-60 a month off me so will be more likely to offer me a good retention deal you seeThey will see no sense in handing out large allowances that don't get used or only get used to the limit when what they really need is text addicts like myself who uses 1000+ a month and goes over the minutes, has x series etc as it all makes them money and you a more valuable customer. If you feel so strongly I would just look elsewhere or renew but have to pay a bit more. Not fair I know but I was always told that life isn't fair:rolleyes:

OK I just phoned three and asked to cancel my contract which ends in March, then they started speaking to me about offerss. I ended up asking about the online offer of Mix & Match 1100 for £19.50, at first she said it was a weekend only offer and to phone back tomorrow. However, after a minute she said that her manager had inicated I could have it today.
SO they've cancelled my existing contract, given me an 18 month contract with Mix & Match 1100 for 19.50. This is a seven pound lifetime loyalty discount - it will never go up while remain on this price plan.
In terms of phones, I could not get the N95 so I went for the Nokia 6120. At least its pretty new and modern - the rest of free three mobiles are old and crappy.
One other thing, towards the end of the phonecall she said it wasnt 19.50, but 20. Never did get a full reason why - she just said she checked and it was £20??? 50p extra for some reason. Anyway, even though Im not getting anything better than new customers, its still a great deal! Afterwards I did check the website again and there is a £20 offer on for 100 mins and 1000 texts. I phoned to make sure I had not been put on that one and that it was the mix and match 1100, and the lady reasured me that it was definately the mix and match. On the 28th Feb I will get my new bill confirming my price plan - will probably hold off using the phone till then just in case I have to send it back, tho Im pretty sure its all ok.0 -

Erm... haven't you realised that the person you have quoted isn't me? It'd be nice if you got the name right when having a dig at people. I suggest you double check next time. If you mean from 3, I got my pac code by text immediately. In fact I got two on the same night because I changed my mind that many times lol. There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson.
