You mean what am I looking for?
800+ x- minutes and 1gig data minimum and a new phone if I can -all for under £20
Currently they are offering Blackberry 9320 or HTC Desire C with 1000 xmins and unlimited data for £18.....I haven't asked for a PAC code yet.0 -
Yes I meant you sorry
If you can be arsed with redemption cashback, the Desire C can be had for £15 with 900 minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB data from Orange.
The Blackberry can be had £19.96 after automatic cashback with 1000 minutes, unlimited texts and 1GB data with Vodafone.
Have a look at money supermarket, uswitch and o mio, plenty of deals to be found between those sites.0 -
Thanks Buscape, though due to memory issues of my own, I avoid cashback deals.
So it seems the deal I mentioned they are offering is a good one.
Also noticed on Tesco mobile, for £20 sim only for 12 months contract, you get 3000x mins, 5K texts, and 2gig data....which appears better than giffgaff and T-mobile fully monty0 -
For all - Three aren't really moving much so asked for my PAC.
Apart from Tesco's £20 3000x mins, 5K texts, and 2gig data.
Noticed Virgin mobile offering to all customers sim only for £12 - 1200 xmins, "Unlimited" texts and 1gig data under a 30 day rolling contract0 -
That Virgin ones good, no other network offers that many minutes on a 1 month contract at £12.0

Hey thanks just order two sims one for my wife and one for myself. They kept on saying that this deal is for virgin media customers only, I guess that's why I was eligible as I have got phone, broadband and TV with them. I don't know how true is that because they offer the same deal online, I guess you can order it online if you are a new customer.
Thanks again.0 -
Originally Two contracts with 3 -one for myself and one for my wife.
Left 3 myself and joined Virgin's £12 offer, after retentions called back and tried to set me up in a guilt trip, with comments like "We have given you a loyalty discount for so long, and now where is your loyalty?" In disbelief , I threatened to complain ,but told him to shove it to you know where...
10 mins later for my wife's contract, another bloke, straight to the point but playing no tricks, from retentions called back offering a new Galaxy Europa and (Talk 500 plan) 500 mins to be used as x-mins or texts with data also for £8..tempted as my wife currently has 250 x mins and 50 texts for £7.50 and doesn't usually reach her limits.
I think the guys over at customer service retentions, have less leeway than before and also are under greater pressure for them to talk the way they did IMHO, as 3's deals are being matched and undercut by bigger indirect rivals now0 -
Well for the VERY short term given the new handsets out before Christmas, I have gone for the one plan rolling one month contract (no loyalty etc same price as everyone else but I want the tethering option so I can drop my broadband contract). I was offered the option of a 12 month sim only 1 plan for £21 month so I thought I would mention that here as unlike the t-mobile one, it allows tethering. I may take that longer term option up in the next few months if the new handsets (note 2 and iphone 5) don't grab me.0

I called up yesterday to arrange to move from a rolling month by month contract to a new phone and 24 month deal. The chap offered me the One Plan with an Xperia P for £27/month, 24 month warranty on the phone.
It's £5 less than the standard cost, and hopefully also means I can get rid of my mobile broadband dongle and just use the phone via 'tethering', which would save me £15/month. Still to be tested...!
I probably could've got it a couple of £ cheaper elsewhere, but I want to keep the number and it all seems really complex to do that with a new contract via a third party. But that's just me!
Does anyone have problems with staff being friendly at Three when they upgrade? The first time I called to discuss this, the operator was particularly aggressive and rude, manipulative and lied at least once. I think Three could do with some customer retention 'friendliness' training... even if they don't have any particularly brilliant deals, getting shirty with customers who ask isn't appropriate.
I'm a customer relationship manager for a large organisation and I'd be fired for speaking to our customers like that.0
