Anon - yes they do !! My ctt was on the 100+100 retention tariff and now I'm getting 500+100 for £5 a month as my follow-on. It'll be my third year with same number, posted details on this thread earlier...check out my posts for the story......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

>But how did this happen for you. Did they phone you or did you phone them? It seems to be luck of the draw.<
It is pot luck if you get the killer offers. Gunjack's way made no difference still just naff renewal offers. All the killer cashback/renewal deals have dried up :-(.0 -
It may have something to do with the fact that I've been with 3 for most of the time they've been operating, with usually 2 contracts on the go at a time(one each for me and mrs GunJack). Also, this year I have relocated, which meant a couple of months of heavy phone use above allowance AND lots of incoming calls (which make the network money too)...when they finally called me back with the offer it was partially that I "had an excellent credit rating" with them......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

I called Three late last night. I was on 100min 100txt, £5 download and the contract end in next march. average £2.5/month. My account is still in credit.:j
I asked for a SE W910i. the final offer on 12 month contract:
save tarrif, £16/month, free W910i.
I accepted the offer.
I will still very happy my N73 with satnav. will list it on ebay for £200. Another year free usage.
The downside is that the new contract has to start from March.
By the way £14/month if I choose 18 month.
My contract finishes in April next year, reading the post above does it mean I can upgrade earlier?0 -
I have just got off the phone to 3 and all they offered me was 500 mins & 100 texts for 20 pounds a month.
I tried & tried to get killer deals and in the end i lost my rag with them and gave them 30 days notice on my two contracts!
It,s their loss not mine and i,ll take my business to o2!0 -
^ same as you. My contract doesn't expire until February but am testing the waters. Keep getting the same deal as you.0

I'm sitting tight, though don't think they are gonna call back. If I don't find a good deal soon I will have to roll over my PAC. Another thought I had was rolling over the contract - taking one of their offers, then going for an iphone.
hmmm - prefer the ease of them just calling me and sorting out a deal for us all!

my contracts ends on 31 january and i am going to request my pac code as i want to move to vodafone...my question is how long will it take 3 to give my pac code? and for how long can i keep it before starting vodafone contract? i dont want to start vodafone contract now as that means i will be paying two rents for january (one for 3 and one for vodafone)...any ideas on how to handle this.0
