    Guys,

    I'm out of contract

Been with three for three years - pay £30 p/m for talk n text 600.

The Nokia N95 8Gb version comes out on Three today and i want it baby!!

I'm just waiting for the guy from three (india) to call me back he just told me 'because its a new phone sir and its very expensive we currently do not have any offers on it'.

I told him if they value my business they'll give me a deal!

    I'll keep you posted :)

    so he called me back

He said he'd charge me £50 for the handset and increase my texts from 100 p/m to 300 p/m (falling in line with my current usage) and keep my bills at £30 p/m....

To be honest I'm pondering it quite seriuosly bacause the only other network offering this handset is voda who are bloody expensive!

Edit - I had a scout around and tbh this was quite a good deal compared to the other network providers so i've gone for it....

Hiya All, my contract with 3 Mobile is about to run out on the 3rd Feb 2008. Anyone know what retention deals 3 are offering existing customers to stay with them.

    Thanks

i took my pac code from 3 on monday as their offers were no good for some one like me who has been with them from day one when they started...they denied the existance of £5/month for life deal which i wanted....passed the pac code to vodafone to get the new samsung f700...on wednesday 3 called me to offer me 500 min and 100 texts per month for £5 for life with a new handset (SE k800i)....i happily accepted the offer:D

Are you going to have any problems if you have already given the PAC to vodafone? Can that process be stopped?

hopfully not...3 said all what will happen is that they will not release the number when vodafone request it so i will keep the vodafone number which was sent to me with vodafone handset.

12 months retention contract due up in mid-February - I have a missed call and a follow up letter direct from 3 asking me to contact them on an 0800 number to reduce my bill (will be interesting - paid £40 for the year minus cost of handset as sold on ebay - therefore in profit for the year !).

Is it usual in month 11 to be contacted about a new deal?

How long is the contract for the £5 per month for life deal that people have been offered?

    Many thanks

:rotfl: I know the MAXIMUM is for life - but everything has a minimum contract - what if you decide it is not for you? The usual practice is that you keep it for the normal 12/18 months then cancel, or cancel your contract and pay up all remaining line rental. If the contract is FOR LIFE, that is one expensive deal ...
