Exactly. If you are loyal you get nothing. You only get a "loyalty" discount when you tell them you're planning on being unloyal. Makes sense, yes? They should call it the "please-don't-run-away discount"
Latest is he had another try yesterday asking to cancel as soon as he got through and quoting the cheap virgin deal, I dont think I have ever heard a phone call like it, they wernt having any of letting him get the sim only, he had been offered a nokia X3-o2 on the previous call so then said he would like a better deal with that, lol that was a joke firstly she spent 20 mins saying they dont carry that phone, strange as he was offered it the day before, then she said they could order it in and was offering 500 mix and match 17.99 a month. thats 2 quid more than he pays now for the same minutes and now uses far more so needs more minutes.( looking for at least 900 mix and match) he kept asking for the pac code and they wernt having any of that either I have never heard any phone call like it
she then spent another half hour telling him he doesnt need more minutes becuase he wouldnt be using them all! hell he is going up to ten pound a month over ever single month of course he needs more minutes on contract!
finally he has got the pac code so now its a wait and see what they offer game!0 -
2 weeks left, no other call yet... Their deals seem person dependent .. I wasn't lucky i guess ...
They used to be cheaper and that's why I was with them, but now they seem pricier than other networks
Do you use up most of your call/txt/web allowance? The best deals go to those that have been profitable to Three0 -
just been offered 500 mins 300 texts 2gb internet for £8 p/m 12 month sim only. it's that or tesco's at £10 sim only which has more text and i think less data. i'll have to call back later so hopefully the deal is still there.

How did you manage to get this? I was offered this but for £15 a month... also read that something got the £13 deal WITH an HTC Desire?? I would really like that deal! Any advice??If you don't want to know my opinion, don't ask for it!0 -
I've got quite a few PM's asking me how I got the deal above with the Desire.
TBH, I don't know. I've been with 3 for a long time. My monthly spend is (was) approx £20/m. For the last 18m I've been on a £10 500+100 plan. The guy did say that the deal was because I'm renewing two contracts.0 -

Iv'e been with 3 for 5 years and my latest contract is up in a month's time. This week I started the daunting task of negotiating an upgrade. i want the HTC Desire on the best deal possible - I don't want to pay more than the £20 I pay now which is for 1100 mix and match minutes and 500MB data.
I was offered a really hard sell on SE Experia X8 (which I don't want) with
2000 any time minutes
5000 UK texts
5000 3 t0 3
All you can eat data
I said no and was given the hard sell on how good the phone is. I was then offered the Sim only deal for £15 (curious that some get it for £13). I said no.
I asked for the same SE deal on HTC Desire but after a long time, the best they would offer was
300 any time minutes
500 texts
500 MG Data for £23 for 24 months.
I have turned this down and said I am looking at my options. I was phoned last night by someone else to offer me a good deal. I was a offered HTC Wildfire on the same deal as SE above. I said no that I was only interested in Desire and was told that the phones are almost identical to which I replied why can't I have Desire then?
I said I was going to look around for a better deal maybe through a third party. The guy from 3 said he would ring me back on Friday.
I'm not keen on going through someone like https://www.buymobilephones.co.uk or mobiles.co.uk but will not be hassled into accepting a phone or deal I don't want. Shall let you know how I get on.0 -
I was offered
2000 mins
5000 texts
All you can eat data
5000 3 to 3 calls
2000 landline minutes
£10 worth of international calls
Free htc wildfire
18 month contract
£22 per month
And the last 5 months removed from my old contract
Is this any good I thought it was ok0 -
