3 Retention Deals

My contract recently expired with 3 and i have now signed up for a £18 a month deal which gives me a new Nokia E63 which is a great deal if you're looking for a new phone.0
-
seems quite good to me, £18.33 p/m is not far away from the best i have seem on here (£15 p/m 18m).
Can you pay the handset price monthly or does it have to be a one off payment?
One off payment but that wouldn't be a problem to me. Also keeps the tarrif for next time which i'm sure they would like to have back and put me on a more profitable one for them.
Think i'll think about it for the rest of the day, wonder if they might give me the 3-3 calls as well?0 -
personally i couldn't afford that one off payment, but if you can then i'd say go for it!0

I'm currently on a 3 sim only deal and get:
300mins
3,000 texts
However many 3-3 minutes
2gb internet
For £17 per month on a month by month basis.
The main thing for me is internet because I use Tune-In radio a lot on my 3GS on my way to and from work.
I rang for my PAC and was called back today offering me deals for at first £13p/m, I said no thanks and then he said £6p/m with a free handset but again I was in a hurry so didn't have time to listen.
He then asked if I'd been interested in the iPhone 4. He offered me the 16gb free of charge on the £30p/m plan.
I would have accepted but have already ordered my phone with Orange!0 -
Spent the best part of an hour on the phone with 3 this evening, they would only do the free iphone 4 on the £35pm plan for me :mad:0
-
Just been back onto 3 to try and give a little push and to prob take the offer i received yesterday.
Interesting what was offered, they offered me an extra year warrenty to 2 years although contract is only 18 month
OR
Take the same contract over 12 months but pay £300 for the handset, really not sure about this one. It would mean in total i would be paying £360 for 12 months instead of £330 over 18 months.
Which is the better deal?
ASAP guys as he's ringing me back in an hour!0 -
got to be up to you really, depends what you can afford.
Personally id go for the 18 month0 -

I thought i could easily work out which was better but over the total contract length its only an extra £30 (18x5+£240=330)(12x5+£300=360) for 6months less on contract which in the mobile phone world is huge!
Hmmm still undecided, thanks Phil for your reply
Kyle

Just called 3 as I wanted an HTC Wildfire for the wife suggested I wanted 500 mins for £18 a month, best they could do was £20 per month so I asked for my PAC code, got put through to Retentions.
They immediately offered:-
24 Month
900 Mins
5000 Texts
2 GB internet
HTC Wildfire
All for £17
Needless to say I accepted the deal as they were offerring me more mins/internet useage at a lower price than I was looking for!
Thanks for the help.

Anyways, after lots of haggling uncertainty etc, I am now on the One Plane with a free Samsung Galaxy S for £25 p/m on 18 mnt contract. Not sure if the whole Premier League things is just them flattering to deceive. But have been with them for 2 years, and my bills average £300-£400 p/m, but before was on a 200mins tariff which finished quick, and make lots of international calls, sometimes via calling cards but even then most the times my mins were finished so woulf get charged for the local call, rate and often had no choice but to make mobile 2 mobile international calls. Funny thing is now I am on the one plan with sgs, all of my calls will be covered by my mins, and even when i cnt get hold of a calling card will have skype, lol, looks like ill probably get relegated soon0
