I got offered my current package VT750 Which includes £5 free downloads, 5000 free texts 400 x minutes 5000 free 3 to 3 calls, 2 gb internet, 25 picture messages, video calling - all on 12 month sim only and ONLY £5 a month- snapped their hands off

Yes, its a Galaxy S. Arrived on Tuesday afternoon. Very very pleased with it. For £15/month for 18months its a steal! I make that £275 I'll be paying and I don't think I could even buy the phone for that, never mind the airtime!

I was offered it for £15 a month

As per my earlier post, I just called up and asked for an upgrade.
They started out wanting £25/Month for 24 months. After about 40 minutes of friendly negotiation I got it down to £15/M for 18M. I think the key is to keep it good natured and always give them room to offer you something.

Called up last night, 6 weeks left on my contract, he went through loads of options, one being the galaxy for £15, I didn't care about a phone, told him I wanted the cheapest line rental, he couldn't come up with anything, I told him I want my PAC, he agreed to send it by text..........then all of a sudden he said "I can do the sim only deal for £5" I snapped his hands off.

My Mix & Match 1100 contract finishes in the middle of December. I called them two nights ago to double check the dates and they offered me an upgrade, even though there are 3 months remaining:

Minutes / texts increased to 1200
Free 3 to 3
1Gb internet usage
Sim only, 12 months flexible contract, upgrade at any time

£13.75 per month.

I currently pay £20.25 so the offer was quite tempting. Told him I'd call back nearer end of contract.

They love to give customers little tempters in that time when you can upgrade but are not going to get that killer deal.

I move into the 110 day period sometime in early October. It'll be interesting to see how long it takes them to start ringing up and offering deals.
