Just checked mine and it had a pre-broken white sticker with HTC branding as well. Everything looks unused though. Does anyone have a list of extras that should come in the box?

Mine too prebroken white sticker. In fact sleeve had rolled off a bit when opened. All looks well though, looks unused. Got charger bits, earphones, battery. Should we be worried?

Can anyone confirm what is meant to be in the box? The 3 website mentions a 4gb micro SD card. Was that in the phone or in the packaging?

Sorry to cause any panic guys but I did not want to take the chance with a 2 year contract...As mine is now going to be almost 3 weeks from taking new contract and as my new plan ( less benefit to me than previous plan) will now be live for 8 days before new phone arrives does anyone think I wouild reap any benefit from phoning and complaining to 3 CS?!? Thanks......

    I received my Desire today,

inside the box besides the phone and battery is a micro SD card which came installed, there is the charger and a UK plug fitting for it, a micro usb lead and a pair of headphones. That is all that came in the box which was sealed - My only issue is that there was no contract details sent, so no record of monthly cost, tarriff e.t.c. i called them and am waiting for them to email contract details before i use phone.

I still went ahead and opened the box as there was a little card sent in the parcel that said you can switch the phone on and have a look and as long as you do not personalise it you can still return it. Anyway when i opened the box i found a new white htc branded sealing sticker so if there are any problems i will fit it and return as unopened. Check right at the bottom of the box, you guys may have a replacement sticker too.

I did not recieve a letter detailing new contract either, they told me on the phone it would come seperatly, a bit sneaky really as a lot of people may rush in and use it

I called tonight also and they apologised for the letter not being there and said they would send it to me which would take 5-7 working days (can't remember exactly), i asked them to email it to me which they are but this can take up to 48hrs???

I remember reading an earlier post where the person received all the contract info in the same parcel as the phone, that's why i called them. i have been with three for years and have never had an issue with them and have always found contacting them very easy and hassle free (unless trying to get a decent upgrade out of them) but there has been many stories of people being offered a deal over the phone and when the paperwork comes through it is more expensive or a lower tarriff so not taking any chances.

I always just ring back the normal customer service number and ask them the deal that I have been put on and check that way.

I had the letter confirming the new deal about a week after phoning them up. The phone arrived shortly after that.

Even though the seal on mine appears to have been broken I am not going to go through the bother of trying to get a replacement as everything is new and unused and would rather have it than deal with them again in getting a replacement which would just be the same anyway.
