Hmm, ok threaten them by saying you are moving onto another network
When you call, select options 4 and 3. (1-upgrades/2-unknown/3-thinking of leaving 3)
Tell them you got both products but still no joy, you will be getting rid of both theirs and move elsewhere.
At one stage they offered me 500mins/unlim txt/unlim internet/free hero for £25/month on 24month contract.Bank accountsSantander : 17 year relationship, 0 problems to date.0 -
Well 3 have made no attempt to keep me. I have 2 contracts with and both have high discounts on them. I tried to get an upgrade on the 15 talker contract which has £10 discount which means I pay £5 + internet and I asked for the Hero and the lady said she could not even offer me that on the upgrade. She didn't even quote the £35 a month which anyone can get.
I already have my PAC so they know I want to leave but mind you I have asked for PAC before and did not leave so they think I wont be leaving.0 -
I have until mid-Feb until my contract expires, so I won't bother chasing until mid-late Jan, but if 3 don't want to make me a good offer

looks very appealing
I'd probably consider a Hero at 15-20 pcm, or a Droid at 30-35
Vodafone has a lot better coverage around here too, which I'd probably value as worth a min of #5 pcm. What goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always recieve lots0 -
Yes, I am on 3. My contract ends by end of December. I also have 15GB broadband with them that ends in Mid Feb. Please let me know your tips. I am essentially looking for Hero, 18 months, >=750min, not more than 50 text, unlimited internet, 300 free 3 to 3 mins (which I believe is standard). What is the best deal can I get?
Thanks
see my post on page 124.
thing to do is actually request your pac code and hand in your 30 day notice, sit and wait for them to call you.0 -

Since you are on T mobile, you could answer this. Apparently most deals with T mobile has free 1GB internet. Is that enough for checking emails, google map or GPS and weather etc.
Thanks0 -

I think whn you are lookg for a phone you alway feel like you must get the most recent handset to be released but I think unless you are a techie there is no point. I felt like that but took the pluinge with the hero and loving it. Just waiting for Free internet to kick in.

My contract with 3 was up today so I phoned them to cancel it, I genuinely was planning to cancel and just to go Pay as you Go with 3. I was on a discounted contract of 1100 mix match text/ minutes and 300 free 3-3 minutes for £20 which was a pretty good deal anyway, it was still available with 3 to upgrade but only with a couple of cheap handsets. I also had a £2.50 internet add on.
Firstly she offered me a £110 Comet voucher to stay which was tempting but I said I wanted to go Pay as you go with 3 as i would get free internet, been spending around £40/ 50 a month as I go over my add on, so she offered me free internet and email instead of the voucher.
I asked what handsets were available as I wanted a better camera and got offered the Sony Ericsson C903, with 5 mega pixel camera, costs about £120 to buy.
So was pretty happy, got free internet and a better camera and kept my original discounted contract (18 month contract). If I had been prepared I might have pushed and got a voucher as well but hadn't been planning to haggle, maybe she could tell I genuinely was going to cancel though.0 -
Hi
Cancelled mine yesterday, got the PAC code as well. They haven't come back to me. I had £20 deal like you and 15GB mobile broadband.

Hi Saurya,
Though I find its mentioned 1GB everywhere, whenever I call customer services, they say 3GB. Regardless, 1GB is fine. The last week I've been using my phone a lot and only used around 100MB. I've read a lot about the phone and people have said that you only need 300MB for normal usage, downloading occasional apps/games, using GPS, using widgets.
If you go on a rampage and start downloading 25 apps a day of around 10MB each then you may need some mega plan, however what you can do is use your home wifi for such heavy purposes. I dont use my home wifi really so its fine.
Back to 1GB, yes definately its adequate.
Btw, 3 will not believe that you can get for so cheap, here's the proof
This excludes VAT so 19.57+VAT=£22.50Hi

I think you should even say that you are cancelling the broadband service also.Bank accountsSantander : 17 year relationship, 0 problems to date.0
