I only got the loyalty discount with this plan. I didn't have one before-I don't think they would have given me one with the n95 8gb for £15 a month! And they wouldn't let me have the n97 on any internet inclusive plans except the M & M 300 at £35 pm (or £29 as they eventually offered).
So I'm not actually on the Internet Texter 20, just the Texter 20 with an Internet Max add-on, and a £5 loyalty discount.0 -
Hi moneygypsy.just checking the 3 website...i can only find deal for the w595 with 500 minutes mix n match for £13.50 not unlimited texts. Can you point me in the right direction for this deal please...thanx.
Hi ,
Sorry my mistake - no unlimited txts just the mix and match thing.
In any case no magic phonecall from 3 yet. Unfortunately I can't seem to find decent deals elsewhere just in case - any advice?
Edit - Just a quick thought. Could I, for example, move to one of the SIM only options with another network (virgin let you keep your number) and then move back to 3 with my no. as a new customer and get the £13.50 deal that I want?:A :A :A :A

I rang to give my 30 day notice today (to move to PAYG), was offered the SE c903 on an 18-month £15 contract, on (I think) Mix+Match 300 + Unlimited Internet.
I rejected this offer - do the internets think that I'm likely to get a better offer than this - the c903 is nice, and the offer beats the website, but I'm not sure if it is that nice (I also can't decide if I'd prefer the 5800) - I'll be mainly using internets and 3-to-3 calls, so PAYG would be pretty cheap for me.0 -
I also gave my 30 day notice today and was offered the following handsets on Mix and Match 300 (18 Months) :
Sony Ericsson C903 - £9.79 per month
Nokia 6700 - £12.79 per month
Nokia E71 - £14.79 per month
I'm not really sure if any of the above deals are good value for money, so I'd appreciate everyone's opinion on how good these deals are.0 -
Hi,
Just a quick question please; if you are on a retention deal and the minimum time is up do you lose your discount if you don't renew?
Thanks for your helpYou can have God without religion!0 -
I gave my 30 day notice about 15 days ago but just got offered a deal. I was on Mix and Match 300 (18 Months) which was costing me £30 which included a video pack. I was offered a deal because i sent a letter to complain about the custoemr service. I recieved a call from a different department and I have now been offered the same contract with a new lg viewty for £4.89 a month. Thats forever as they said they would keep this deal for however long i stay with three. I recorded the call and i am recieving the offer in writting. So i have accepted this.0

not a bad deal if 300 minutes is enough for you0 -
visiting the upgrades section on my3 gives you an idea of where the starting point should be for your haggle with retentions.
I get offered a various phones (skype, INQ1) on my £5 tariff, 18 months or you can see how much a dearer phone costs (N97 £266 @ £5 per month, 18 month contract).
I'm not at the end of my contract yet, but any information you have helps you when you play the game of chicken with retentions0
