I have just asked for a PAC yesterday from 3.

Should I wait until day 30 to migrate or should I start the process now?

I am hoping to stay with them, provided I get a good deal.

    Please advise fellow MSE's!

I thought about doing the same, however after cancelling I've now requested a PAC, and they haven't contacted me.
I really do despair with them, to keep me on the same tariff they are expecting me to pay twice at much which is ludicrous, so I'm going to switch to a temporary contract with vodafone I think.

I've spoken to managers and normal staff and all offers have been rubbish. The problem with a PAC code is that ultimately you're playing chicken with them, if you use your PAC your contract gets cancelled. If you don't use your PAC you just end up continuing on the same contract at normal price, with no retentions deal... depends how much of a gambler you are - recently there haven't been that many decent offers about :(

    Advice please!

Missed loads of calls from Three in the past 2 weeks anyway they got me today and they said if I changed my price plan I'd lose the £5/m I currently have but I can have an upgrade so their offer is

    N95 £45
    N95 8Gb £125
    6220 classic £20
    K660i £0
    SE W910i £0
    SE W890 £20

So what are the merits of the phones? Are any clearly better than another?

I'll be cancelling my other contract in a few days but as that was a 6 month one would they want to try to retain me on that?

I hate Nokias so wont comment on them

The 660i is second generation of the 610i and does much the same but has a zoom on the camera.
The 910 is apparently discontinued now for the 760i, which has all the same plus GPRS for google maps, although why it would be replaced by a lower number I dont understand.
The 890 is delightfully small and is essentially a walkman. Its the replacement for the 880 which was the same but with really fiddly buttons. The ones on the 890 arent huge either, so go for the 910 if you have fat fingers!

Thanks for the reply - I'm not a Nokia lover either but I have to acknowledge that at home I get an excellent signal with one compared to an occasional signal with the Skypephone...

Do you think I could get better? Might use Skype occasionally and it would be useful to have something I could put my '3' broadband SIM into when needed. I suppose that something I could use for email would be useful.

Anyone who can comment on the 6220 vs paying for the N95?

(I cannot even get to see the phones on the SE website - bizarre)
