Sadly for you, there are so many disgruntled customers of yours that really, you have no idea which one I am.
And I would quit threatening people on this thread and get over to the MSE "Consumer Rights" Forum where you could really get into the interesting debate with those who are discussing your understandings (or lack of) on Consumer Law & DRS.
If that was true then you would have contacted me direct. Now stop making things up.
Any retailer will have the occasional problem with customers who just want things their own way, and won't comply with the terms that they accepted at the time of purchase. But I personally have only ever had two such customers, so stop telling porkies unless you can come up with the proof (which I know you don't have because it is a complete lie).0 -

Tim,
Please do not refer to me or I will have to reply. I was only seeking to assert my rights as per Distance Selling Regulations. Your company claimed to comply with them but when details of the situation were discussed your interpretation of the law was different to mine and also different to the majority of the contributors to the thread I created here.
It seems that you may have been advised to get a professional to update your company terms and conditions as there appear to be a number of issues with them, but at this time you do not seem to have done that and instead rely on your own interpretation of the law which is in my view (and several others who are experienced in consumer law) incorrect.0 -

It is obvious to me and anyone else that you have been posting under two different names. Now grow up before I get a court order to make MSE reveal your identity.
I dont want to wade into a seemingly bitter arguement but there is no way that MSE would be able to find out who they so stop throwing round meaningless twaddle about seeing them in court"If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0 -

When people tell complete lies about you, as Savvy Consumer has, then it is in my professional interest to take legal action. It is actually very easy to trace most people who use computers, and a court order would enable this.
I'm actually getting fed up with this mud slinging, which I thought had been nipped in the bud.0 -

Actually you are wrong. Most users do not have a static IP address and it changes all the time. Not only that whenever you log out of here it tells you that all cookies and the cache of what you have visited has been removed - this includes all details of where you have posted from.
They keep no record and i very much doubt that anyone who has argued with you has used their own personal email address.
so exactly how would they trace them?"If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0 -

Who said I was talking about the IP address?? And even if I was, it is still possible to find out many details through the ISP.
There are other ways which I'm not going to go into details about, otherwise people will start trying to avoid them.
Also if someone did have a genuine legitimate gripe against me then they would have no need to hide their identity, because they would probably be taking it through the courts.
Now can we please stop going off topic.0 -

You cant find out anything from some random poster on here so dont go around thinking you can.. There are no other ways unless you know who the person is and if you try and argue that then you really are a bit of a fool.
Please dont start threatening people with court action when you cant back it up.

Of course you do Tim :rotfl:0 -
I would never use Dreams ever again.
After buying a bed for £400 which had an rrp of £1000+, I thought I was on to a winner. Their delivery was half decent, once I was given a date it was fine, it was waiting over a week for them to tell me the date that was an issue.
Bed all assembled, felt very weak but thought nothing more about it. A couple of days later, move to the bottom end of the bed and hear a snap, the side rail snapped in half.
4 months after originally letting them know there was a fault, 4 failed deliverys of replacement side rails as they hadn't informed me they were delivering, a "furniture specialist" to my house to determine that the side rail is broken and he can replace with a bit of wood off the record. What eventually got me a refund was due to another error from them. On the fourth attempted delivery I got a phone call to say my side rails were being delivered, I explained I had not been informed and due to being at work I won't be able to take delivery, he said no problem, cheers for being honest and didn't put them on his delivery load and took me off his list. That never relayed back to the office and they closed down my complaint! When I chased again they said it was completed, I told them it wasn't and how it's disgusting how you close complaints without completing them etc. Next email was an apology and confirmation of a full refund.
Now, issue number 2, the mattress I bought from them has "dipped" in the middle. When I say dipped I mean collapsed. I know memory foam is meant to remember how you slept etc but it's like I've got 2 mattresses now.
Can't see me getting anywhere with this but I will persist again. Took me probably 20 or 30 emails to get my refund for the bed.0
