    I know they have overheads, but they also have massive buying power with huge discounts. So why are they so much more expensive than independent shops who don't?

    Read some of the posts about them and you will see that you are probably safer buying on line as long as the seller has a good returns policy, and will give you honest advice before you buy.

    You're absolutely right. I have done so once and I would never do that again. Buy online if you must but try before you buy.

    To be 100% honest I wouldn't know. I don't link the two anyway, as I sell on my web site, and I give advice on here. The two aren't connected.
