    morning all,

Not rainng here yet but blowing a gale, might put washing on line, although it might rain later, . Got dark wash in (uniforms), and a white wash for later.

need to go to opticions (sp why can I never spell that) later and get my glasses sorted, the plaster across the nose did the trick, although it looks strange :D , also need to pick up a sack of spuds while OH is with me so he can lift them.

Got Hm quiche new spuds and salad for tea, DD is off with her dad for the day, its her allowance day today, and she wants to get a new eye liner, she also needs to put some money up for a Hoodie she wants to buy through her gym class at school its navy blue with gym written on the back, for £21  , so I said we would pay half each.

OH and I will probably go walking, I love getting out and about, and I do find it keeps my weight on an even keel, without having to do any strick dieting.

atypicalblone hello :j you will love it here xx

tattycath hope you feel better soon.
jockett well done on the weightloss x

hope you all have good days xxx

    Help please

Some one ages ago posted a link to a recipe/ingredients site. You type in what ingredients you have in store/fridge etc ... and it gives you ideas what to cook.

Can some one give me that link please.
    Thanks

www.cookingbynumbers.com - thats cos I asked penpen for it the other day!!
  • Morning all, wet and windy here again. Am getting a tad sick of being wet now.

Not much news from the Flitters. have cut OH's hair for him this morning, had a bowl of porridge and written a couple of letters to friends. OH now wallowing in the bath so I can't get into the shower:rolleyes: for a while. Oh well.

Got two more letters to write and then I want to finish off my raincoat which I have been making for months - seems like now would be a good time to have a new mac, methinks.

Have a great day everyone. Welcome to the newbies and hugs to those still poorly.

Morning everyone! (Internet connection ok this morn;) ) :j

    This will make you laugh......

DH told me he had a dream other nite that he was doing a raffle with all you OS ladies in a Hall somewhere!!! Apparently penpen put up the eggs, haribo's jam (with hats!), some hm cards, knitted/crochet stuff (from various knitters on here) and a TRACTOR!!! - which Catowen had won in a farmers weekly competition!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: Do you get the farmers weekly cat??!

thats cos he's always asking me "what are the ladies up to today?" - I think he needs to get his own hobbies instead of gate crashing mine!!:rotfl:

apart from that have been to asda this morning and got a Sun Paper - they are giving 2 free energy light bulbs today with every one!

Was thinking of taking kids to crystal palace park today to see those dinosaur statues I saw on suggs tv prog this week - but weather is supposed to be drizzle - so might not.

Apart from that nowt much else going on at Chez Shez - have a good dayx

Well done Jockettuk on the weight loss:T
Welcome to all the new posters:D

    Morning all.

Not sure how I've been up for 2 hours already but time doesn't mean too much to me today at least! We have lots of jobs to do this weekend but I'm not in a mega rush to do them. Am just sorting out the food delivery through Mysupermarket, it's good that you get iPoints through them now.

Today I want to make some cheese scones and some muffins, jam crumblies and pizza bases.... yes, I'll be busy in the kitchen! I also want to do some sorting in the spare room as I want to get my Ebaying back on track-I don't make much money from it but every penny counts and the clearing is needed too as we want the spare room done by the end of half term, if not before-just need to give OH a kick up the bum! He does much less than I do in the household and we both work full time-you'd never guess that I was the one who suffered from chronic fatigue! I want him to take the bins out and he can hoover the kitchen, hallway and living room and wash the kitchen floor, then get set on the bathroom...hehehe. Oh and I'd like to clean and sort out the fridge before my food delivery on Tuesday evening! Not much then. We have a fair few more jobs to do today so I might move the sweet baking to tomorrow, I won't bore you with any more of my list.

Have a good Saturday everyone and hugs to those who need/want.
