Hi SSS, do you have a RentAid near to you? Could your brother try there?
My parents are out of the country at the moment I think they will provide the money for accomodation for him when they get back.He has mental health problems, references are a problem for him due to his mental health issues.Im sure you know all about that.
Hel be OK at least he only has himself to consider. What usually happens is he ends up in a mental health unit due to deterioration .
Because you cant see it people doubt and dont understand mental illness.
    Good luck for today.
  • Yawn have slept in and feel better, hello MOT hope your appt at HA goes ok.

Just typed rentaid into search machine, interesting scheme,no 4 Mike Penning seems to involved with this or promotes it, clicked on the link but the webpage wouldnt show.

We have something similiar to this in the town where I live Churches Coalition Scheme but it aimed at single persons,:confused: am now going to dig around and see what would be available in my area for people in MOTs situation, honestly think that being homeless in my area is not as good as I thought.
I was lucky and was given my flat although on temp tenancy for a year then made it permanent.
Have a good day MOT hugs to twins will pop in later to seehowyou got on

Further to Saffronflowers & Gforce saying they are pulling back, I too am taking a break from DFW for a while. Some of you have posted on my thread about this - thank you for your kind words.

I just feel that the "mob" type attitude that was prevailing over the weekend and the dubious nature of some comments in this thread have tarnished what was a valiantly supported situation.

Mot & Saffronflowers have my email & mobile number, anybody who needs me please PM, I will respond.

    Love to all,

    Floss xx

Well not much to report really:confused: they are speaking to a couple of private rental LL's for me other than that - its moving day on Sunday, so now need to find somewhere to store the rest of my stuff:confused: and get my marigolds out.

Been searching for private rented again and also rung 3 agents who understand how HB benefit works and have LL's who are happy to accept it. However, still waiting for call back from an agent I rang yesterday who has 3 suitable properties on the market - I did call him again when I got in but he said he was still waiting for the one LL to call him from abroad, so I asked him about the other 2 and he got quite shirty and said he didn't want to waste his time making calls back and forth to me and that he would be making just the one call when this LL finally contacted him! (This LL doesn't have access to internet all time as he is travelling!).

    Feeling really p***ed off.
