Dbc 1 - Mot 0

I have read all your messages of support and there are a lot that I would like to reply to but my head is spinning, so please forgive me if takes me a while.

I am utterly devestated and shocked by DBC'c decision to not house us, particularly as they had no concern whatsoever of my mental health and in fact the Barrister there told I-T that it wasn't relevant for him to question the H of Hsg about why they had ignored NowMedicals suggestion that they should obtain a psychiatric report:mad: .

In brief, I am waiting for solicitor to call with a reply from DBC's inhouse Barrister (not the one at the appeal) with news of extending our temp accom for a week or so in order that I may find alternative accomodation. If it is a resounding 'no' then we have to be out of here by 12noon on Monday, which actually would have to be Sunday as I-T has work commitments on Monday, friend T also has work on Monday (he has a van) so no strong men to move me out and no van. However, it still doesn't help that I would have nowhere to store my belongings until a permanent place is found, I am struggling with the costs of storage for the rest of my furniture as it is!

Slept deeply for most of the night, was awake for a while mulling things over, then overslept almost and had to race to get twins to school this morning.

I am trembling and fuzzy minded and feel that I am a totally useless as a human being and a bad Mum for not being able to get somewhere for the twins to live.

Yes, I am proud but realise that your offers of help are to be accepted as I just cannot manage anymore.

Thank you for reading and for your continued support, you are all :A

My heart goes out to you, MoT.
I just read most of your thread yesterday, dipped in and out really, but I can't believe how things have gone for you. It's a screaming injustice, and I hope that somehow at the eleventh hour, something happens to help you through this.
My thoughts are with you and your family.
I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

MOT, I'm sure someone on your thread was nearby and said they may be able to give you a hand if you needed it.
    Keep fighting :)

    Hi MOT

I have followed your thread for the last couple of months and, although I haven't posted before, have been endlessly amazed at how you found the strength to fight for your family, you truly are an amazing woman. Please, please don't question yourself as a human or a mum. I think that everyone can learn a great lesson from you and I hope that you find more strength to carry on with your fight.

((((((HUGS))))))) to you and please let us all know if there is ANYTHING we can do to help you.

  • nice to hear from you. I only read your thread yesterday (well some of it!!) and am so impressed how you are handling things. You are amazing mum because you fought them!! You have taught your kids something so valuable, never give up. Probably the best gift you can I have given them.

I have to tell you, right now you have inspired me and want to do all I can to help so will watch out for further details.

    God Bless

Hello MOT, well firstly !!!!!! off with the bad mum bit, no neeeeed for that.

Like we've said before we have a plan B and that is to assist you in whatever way we can either practicably or moral support.

Unfortunately the decision by DBC has left many of us reeling both in shock and anger and also despair about the manner in which you have been treated particularly by !!!!!! landlord who appears to have got away with bullying and intimidating behaviour.

However we can keep going round in circles and cursing for ever or we can get our heads together and see what we can do.

So hun, like I said before is there anything you can think that we can do? We could ring round to see if there are any private lets out there for you, you'd need to let us know about areas and such.

Unfortunately I'm in Yorkshire so a little too far to be of any physical use but more than willing to try and help over 'tinternet.

We are all still here for you hun and we've been very worried about how you've taken the decision but I have no doubt sweetie that as usual you will find that inner strength and determination that has got you so far and will with your usual grace and fortitude face this coming few weeks head on.xx

MOT, You are certainly not a bad mum, you can get that straight out of your head right now.

I think you have been amazingly strong throughout this ordeal, and I cannot express my disgust at the appeal decision enough. It beggers belief that you and your twins who are in genuine need will not be helped, when their are others who just seem to get things handed to them.

If you ever need anything, PM me and I'll do my best to help you, I would like to offer you a room but I'm in Yorks. (the offer is there, I know its not practical, and I have a empty garage!)

I am so pleased that you have offered to accept the DFW help, please let me know how/where I donate.

I think you are one special person...and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
