MoT you are not a bad mum.

This is the council's fault, not yours. I still can't believe they came to the decision they did, but we could go round in circles forever questioning that.

So now to look to the future - everyone is willing to help in whatever way they can. How much is your storage for your belongings? Perhaps a short term help would be raise enough to pay that for you for a month or two to give you some breathing space.

This will all work out in the end ... I'm sure :)

I watched your thread with interest and was sure there would be a positive outcome and now my heart goes out to you all, and my head screams injustice. It beggers belief that a country such as we live in cannot help those who really need help but are only too willing to help others who have not earnt that help or in some cases dont deserve it.

I would be proud to have you as my Mum (though you are too young lol) and I know the twins must feel the same, you have remained dignified throughout all of this so stand tall and proud and know that you have not let anybody down, the system has done this, not you - you are to be highly commended and I had I been in your shoes, I know I wouldn't have come out the other side.

I am happy to help, by whatever means possible, inlcuding funds, please PM me with yours or IT's address so i can do this. Don;t be proud, I, once, not so long ago, had to accept help from 2 very kind people on this board and will be eterenally grateful, sometimes needs must and it does not make you less of of a person. DFW's wouldnt offer their help if they didn't want to so please, it may not be a lot but it will all add up, accept our help in the way its meant - just good and honest kindness.

You have the love and support of your wonderful children, IT, SF, Floss etc etc and you also have it from the DFW community.
Please keep posting, let us know if there is anything else we can do and know that you are not alone.

Please PM yours or IT's address or Paypal account or whatever.

My love to you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

You are not a useless person or a bad mum, quite the opposite. Just ask the two people who know best. You are the victim of a useless system, which is quite a different thing.
Please let us know how we can help you, and try, as hard as it is, to keep your chin up xxx
  • Don't let anyone ever tell you or make you think you're a bad Mum. Far from it - you've fought the system as far as you can to make it work for you and the twins. I'm full of admiration for the way in which you have coped thus far. You have a lot of people who care about you here.

Let me know paypal or whatever and I'll very happily contribute something if that would help.

    Take care

  • MoT, I have only just caught up with your harrowing story, my head has been too far up my own backside to notice others problems in the way that I should.

You have been totally amazing and inspirational but I realise that 'doesn't buy the baby a bonnet'.

One day in years to come (when your teeth get cleaned in jar), you will be sat with your family and it will be worth more than you could have ever have dreamed about, your family will be so proud of you. You have already done your children proud chick, you have stood up and fought when there are much easier options you could have taken.

If there is ANYTHING you can think of that I or someone else may be able to help you with, I know you only have to give the nod.

God Bless, keep them twins close to you tonight and draw your strength from their very existence

    xxx

    Thank you all :T :A

Just to let you know that I have a reprieve for a week. The eviction date is now Monday 28th January by 12 noon.

Solicitor will receive S202 letter from the council on Monday (as no doubt will I) then she can study it to see if we have a case for appeal and she will let me know probably by the middle of the week. DBC have the 'Power' to house us pending this appeal but do not have an obligation, so it could be that I will have to move into somewhere next weekend.

Started to look on Rightmove for rental properties here in Hemel - 3 beds and a garden - for as little as possible, but we'll see  .

Then I have to get deposit, first months rent and moving costs sorted:eek:

I-T just been violently sick, think its the stress of yesterday - he feels he let me down! No way, did he - he was up against a rottweiler and a Barrister - anyone would have had hard job against them!

He has been amazing! So supportive and still so loving even in the blackest of times - I really appreciate his tenacity to stick by me through all of this - thank you mielepanini :iloveyou:

i only caught up with your thread yesterday but echo all the thoughts above-if you want to see what a bad mum really looks like the mirror aint the place at all-look at the thread on the mum in tescos last night-now that mum deserves some bad karma-not the one you see in the mirror
shame you dont fancy yorkshire we seem to have beds galore for you x will keep following this thread for ways to really help x

For deposit and first month's RIA - you need to look into an ABC bond as soon as possible. The CAB or Housing Office should be able to help with this.
