Hi MOT and all,
glad the weekend move went well and you are on the way to getting sorted. Can't believe you went back and cleaned the flat, or maybe I can.

It's not really an issue who helped who - the main thing is that someone got help when they needed it. Nothing about my reply was rude, aggressive or uncomplimentary towards you or anyone else, so your irate response wasn't necessary. As it's MOT's thread, I'll also leave it at that.0 -

REPOSSESSION ...written in Capital letters gave it away...that was the title of the thread...I purposely didn't put a link in as it was easy to spot and because you were all sympathetic to MOTs situation..mistakenly thought that some of you would like to help her....a couple of you did and you know who you are...so thanks...she was no less deserving...was she?
Primarily a debt forum ..yes we know that but aren't most homeless cases stemming from debt...and it is a support forum I just thought you may like to support her. While following MOTs thread i have tried to help best I can on all the eviction type threads and I don't know any of them either and to shoot another poster down as well who thought she would get help on here...I am now referring to the poor lady that was getting evicted from her house ...another one that you lot didn't want to help and she posted on this thread.!!!!
Your reply itself has invoked this response in me...I have never been nasty to anyone on these boards and have posted a large number of times on all sorts of issues.0 -
Whoah people, lets not start with the bickering again.
In all fairness I didn't see this thread, I wil now go and offer my support. Also lumping people as "you lot" isnt very nice is it?
Lets keep the bickering off the threads eh?I am one of the 63336.'It is better to have lived one day as a tiger than a thousand years as a sheep.'

If you want private rental issues - try the house renting board it's where most cases end up.

I'd say the renting board gets at least one eviction/can't rent privately need social
housing case a day and a severely heart-rendering one at least once a week. The annoying thing was hte racist they must be givign the homes to immigrants or blacks implications when actually you'll find hundreds of people who genuinely need something better in the social sector than the private sector. There's a serious housing sector problem in this country and magicing extra council housing isn't a solution - where from0 -
Perhaps instead of turning on one another (again) we should direct our anger and frustration about the chronic lack of affordable social/private rented housing to our M.P.s .
That way it may become something tangible on the government's agenda instead a subject that gets paid lipservice to.
