Special :DGrinny-Chops-Get-Well wishes:D to Miss Twin, full of miz., poor sore nose, sneezes and a nasty cold.
A day off to really mug it into submission would be commonsense and you've a chance to pass it on to Mr Twin.....:j who also needs to recuperate:D .

It isn't nice to think of someone's posts not being seen, but people can't see every post that appears or have an answer for all of them. This forum is primarily about debt not homelessness. Also, some people can only log on for a few minutes a day (for a variety of reasons), & it's natural that if they've been involved in a thread they'll have a quick look maybe even post in that one & then log off.

Even though this is MOT's thread, there's a lot to be learned from it. I've never been actually homeless myself, & what MOT has gone through has given me some idea of the hoops I might have to jump through & the hurdles I might have to jump if I were to unfortunately end up in that situation. As the saying goes, forewarned is forearmed. :)

As you're aware of this woman's posts, perhaps you could either post in her threads to bump them, or provide links (in a new thread, not this one) so that people can be made aware of her. It's good that you & others were around to help her - you did help her, didn't you? :)
Of course I helped her as I have with MOT...I may not have been able to go to St A but have given useful supportive information to MOT at many times from the very beginning...I have also never knocked MOT or this thread in any shape or form..in fact I praised MOT for helping other people in the same situation as herself while going through all the stress that shes going through..
I also thank Silvercar as well for helping me try and trace her.So I take exception to the tone that you had to even ask that I helped her.!!!...I will leave it at that

Great news MOT of the landlord on here that's offered you a place
  • I have a good feeling about today MOT. Let's hope the post on here comes to something.

Your ability to think of others when you are going through all sorts of terrible things makes me ashamed about myself. I'm sure whoever has moved into where you are will have really appreciated what you've done ... above the call of duty in my view.

You are a truly good person. Truly good things happen to good people. Just hang on in there.

    Evening all,

Reminds me of Dixon of Dock Green (only a baby then;) ).

I'm waiting to hear from rachandrog about house, but will be spending tomorrow searching through private LL's in St Albans this time to see what I can find.

Hope you all had nice teas and that you are relaxing in front of tv or radio.

    Be on later xx

There's nothing for you to take exception to, because (a) the help given wasn't clear from your post - in fact, the impression given was that she didn't get any help, (b) no criticism was made of you, & (c) you didn't provide any links to her post/s (something you still haven't done), which would have helped us find her posts quicker.

It's not really an issue of who helped who - the main thing is that someone got help when they needed it. Nothing about my reply was rude, aggressive or uncomplimentary towards you or anyone else, so your irate response wasn't necessary. As it's MOT's thread, I'll also leave it at that. :)
