If you are claiming hardship then telling them about your financial situation in the more recent history is important. I would not perhaps go down the loan route and only consider an overdraft IF it will ease the current financial hardship.0

What sort of thing can I send them though. Im just struggling like everyone else I suppose. Waiting till final reminder to pay bills. I have already borrowed £800 of my grandma she is 80. But I cant prove none of this. Im penny pinching each month and you know the feeling. If I pay this now and wait another month to pay something else etc. If I could just get the money from them it would help relieve the pressure. I dont have debt collectors chasing me but I dont it to get to that either.
I certainly would take a loan, how laughable are they to even suggest it. I dont want another overdraft I still have it to pay.
What can I do or how do I word my next letter?0 -
please help as previous post0

HSBC will not help you even if you send the forms back in, my claim for hardship has now got to the court stage, because they will not filter through the claims from hardship customers. Send the second letter and follow Martin's guide through.LBM £18463.32 in debt 10th June 2008,£12470.99 in debt 10th June 2009.:jTime flies like an arrow.

I have just had a letter back from the HSBC stating that after requesting details of charges applied to my credit card account over the past six years they have found that none at all have been applied, thats right none, nowt, ziltch.
Should I write back asking them to sen my statements anyway?, not that I'm suggesting they are not telling the truth0 -

Do you remember incurring any charges? If not, I guess there's not much point, you both think there are none.
If you're unsure, you can request your statements under the DPA, see Martin's guide.0 -
I did request the statements under PDA, I'm not sure if I did incur charges or not thats why I requested the statements using Martins guide and template letter0

sorry forgot to say all they sent me was the letter stating they could not find any charges on that account this is within a week of me posting the request letter. considering how busy they are supposed to be and that they have 40 days to get back to me I think this is a super quick reply0

Can anyone suggest what to do next do I leave it and take their word for it or do I continue and send them another letter saying I still want my statements under DPA?0

My reply before stil applies, if you can't remember incurring any charges and they've said there aren't any, I don't see much point, they will only send the same information.0
