  • Please can anyone help me?

I have had a letter from HSBC's Solicitors on Friday saying that they will pay me the full amount of £210 if I sign not to claim from them for the date supplied.
What I would like to know from you, should I accept this? I know there are about £40 worth of fee's been added since. What do I do??

Do I accept the £210? or should I hang on for the amount Ive accumilated since I sent the claim?

By the way, Im claiming for a HSBC credit card fees.

    Thank you xxxxxxxxxx

Try doing a company search you may find the details that way.

Thanks edinburgh lass, exactly what i needed, now just have to sit and write a calm collected letter!!!
  • HSBC sent me my statements within a week! I only have 160GBP to claim including interest! I wonder if they will simply pay out this small amount when I ask for it despite the test case (especially since I have hinted strongly at them I am not happy and will move and have started closing off my accounts one by one with them! haha!). Any experiences?

  • Hi, I've just received a letter back from HSBC to my first claim and it seems to be the usual blurb about how the charges are fair and how they cannot do anything until they know the outcome of the OFT case ...

is that it then? can i not do anything until the test case is over?

    any help appreciated!! :o

I have noticed that HSBC have charged me £25 for accidentally going over my overdraft limit. They debited it on 30/09/07 when I accidentally went over on 19th August. When I rang up the said that it was an 'Informal Overdraft Request' and basically to lump it. Is there nothing I can do about this?
