Lose my mind? oh now I am intgrigued!!
Right-oh, will follow your advice baliffchaser and get writing to them this evening - will keep you posted!!0 -
I've had another e message from Heidi at the HSBC and she has again said that they haven't received a copy of the judgement (it has now been faxed, emailed and posted so many times I think I'll need to plant some trees to make up for all the wasted paper!!). She has given me a number to call 0800 88 11 55 and I got through to a nice lady who said that she hadn't heard of any cases having been given judgement yet and how did I get on? I said they hadn't defended the case and so I had been granted judgement. She couldn't find anything on her system to suggest that they should be paying out to me...and she has gone to speak with a manager. I'm sure it will amount to nothing, but it is one more thing I can show the court tomorrow when I apply for a warrant to prove I have been giving them the opportunity to settle the judgement.0

Maybe they ve been shoved in someones drawer to deal with another day. someone must know whats going on. Think you have alot of information to back up your claim. Bet you are on tender hooks 24/7. Do they realise that you are applying for warrant tomorrow. when they suppose to be phoning you back? Good on you for sticking to it.

You're telling me!!! I've since called them back and explained that I will be issuing a warrant tomorrow and that will mean a bailiff will visit my account holding branch. The guy I spoke to actually said 'well, if you're not getting anywhere with us and DG Solicitors then that is probably your best bet'.
LMAO. Ok, Mr/Mrs bank manager - Here come the bailiffs! :rotfl:0 -
Just had a call from the bank...they have told me that their legal team have advised that they filed for a stay on my claim on Friday (the day that the payment was due and almost 3 weeks after the judgement).
I'm going to go down to the court tomorrow and fingers crossed they won't grant a stay because my judgement pre dates the OFT case.
I can't believe how much they are messing me about. Not sure if I can apply for the warrant now that they've done this.     :mad:0 -

Following on from your advice Baliffchaser - I have put together my first claim letter. Total of £833 plus interest, overall total £955.34.
I imagine it will be unlikely I will even get a response from the bank given the current OFT case?0 -
