  • Hi all

Still no joy for Palerie-head. Cash was due in my account yesterday at 4pm, received snooty note from HSBC this morning reiterating the test case and saying that I will be receiving a letter telling me that my case has been held until after the test case.

Are these people thick?????? I have a court judgement!! I have sent a letter today to HSBC (every address I could find!) plus their solicitors, my county court, the finiancial ombudsman, daily mail financial pages and even my MP! I've given them until Tuesday to pay up and then it's off to court I go!

    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!

1st Response 6th June 2007 we are looking into the matters

Decided to wait the 8 weeks as the banks were paying up at that time.

Emailed them on 17th July to say where’s my money.

Reply 18th July to say we are still dealing with it.

Went on holiday at this time thought I would have an offer letter waiting for me when I got back.

26th July returned from holidays to find nothing, and heard about the Test Case and thought it was all over.

Checked internet banking to find a message there waiting for me to say why hadn’t I returned the acceptance to the £2500.20 that they have offered me on 21st July.

<O:p</O:pReplied saying I hadn’t received the offer letter, HSBC blamed Royal Mail.

6th August went into the branch and asked them to print a copy of the offer letter.

7th August offer letter signed and faxed back.

8th August email to say I have to sign a new acceptance letter with the terms referring to the “Test Case”

13th August still no 2nd acceptance received, went to the branch again and asked them to print it out.

14th August 2nd acceptance letter signed and faxed back – you should get your money in 14 days (28th August).

16th August low and behold £2500.20 sat in my bank account 2 days after 2nd acceptance letter was sent, Thank You HSBC. :j :j :j :j

According to section 6.1 'This decision takes effect on 27th July' - my judgement was given on 25th July, so I really can't see how they can possibly be refusing to pay out!!

I've messaged the lovely Heidi (do we think she is one person or does everyone hide behind the one name???)
