Lou when did they recieve your acceptance?
I'm checking at midnight every day too!! grrrrrrrrrrr
Hi mixxymash
I received my acceptance on 7th July which was a saturday, sent back to them signed on 9th July so there 14days is almost up:T . I phoned them last week to check they had received it and they confirmed funds would be credited to my account no later than Tuesday, so they have made me wait the full 14 days:eek: logically i should have it at midnight tonite or the very latest tomorrow at midnight. Have been like you sitting up ad waiting. Some people have been paid out in 5 days but i think the majority have been around the tenth. Unfortunately for me i am one they have left to last minute.
How long have you been waiting?

Hiya
You can claim back the charges but not the interest. You will need to get your statements for last six years and add it all up.
Good luck

i've got an agrement with hsbc's debt people and i'm claiming my charges back. i have a court date 14th august but haven't had any contact with anyone apart from the court.
my question is will they pay up or will they take it off the amount that i still owe them as i pay them back £100 a month. i owe them quite abit.
my friend has done all the hard work for me and she says they should give me the charges back because it is a different issue.
she keeps phoning me and asking have i heard anything. but i haven't yet. she says have faith it will happen.0 -

STICK WITH IT AND AS YOUR FRIEND SAYS KEEP FAITH IT WILL HAPPEN:T

Hi,
Apols if this has already been covered - I've scanned - but 207 pages is a lot to get through!
I sent my first letter earlly may got a letter back asking for a full itemised list of charges. Sent this early June. Didn't hear anything so sent second letter at end of June. Still haven't heard anything?
Is no-response a common tactic? Do they play the "we haven't received your letters card?"
Just wondering whether to wait, resend last letter, or move to FOS or Court.
Any advice?0 -

I think you'll find that they won't give anything away until you ask for it! I would give them a ring and ask them to confirm the date they received your first letter. They then have 8 weeks from this date to respond to your claim.
You can of course follow martin's advice :money: and go down the court route, but reading thru this forum, it takes a lot longer and can involve a lot more stress!
I have 2 claims going through, decided to wait the 8 weeks, got an offer on one account at 6 and a half weeks :j , still waiting for the other acount though8 weeks up on 24th July.
Good luck whatever you decide to do!0
