Jo xx
I know it's technically tomorrow so I'm a bit late with this post. It's been a looooong day. Used up some manky bananas in a cherry and banana loaf this morning - first time I've ever baked before 7am!
Jo - I have bought the Argos slowcooker and I'm dead chuffed with my bargain. I've done a few things of varying quality but that's more to do with my odd combinations trying to use up what was in the fridge rather than the equipment. I think the sale ends Friday if I remember correctly.
Anyway have been in meetings all day then teaching this evening (OH and I teach salsa on a Tuesday) so am very tired and off to bed.
Sleep tight everyone!0 -
Morning Campers.
Off work today on the sick as i have a poo-ey ear infection so im being all dizzy and sick and, well just milking being off...altho OH is in london so no one to wait on me hand and foot...oh how i wish i had kids to do this :rotfl:
Plan for today is call the doctor out for some medication as i dont fancy being sick all the way to the doctors.
1. do dishes
2. divide katies potatie salad into portions.
3. Make more everday biscuits (butter permitting)
4. Make some hair extensions for my fave customer
5. Scrub the bathroom as its very black and brown atm (hair dye explosion)
6. Vaccum round and tidy the living room
7. Change the bed and put new duvet cover on from Primark
8. Ebay some things
9. Tidy up my recipe file
10. PAMPER PAMPER PAMPER PAMPER
Will probably think of more to do but this is all on condition i stop being sick long enough or the dizziness subsides to let me move about
im posting from my bed, on my lap top, with it sitting on my chest, typing funny, just so i dont have to move:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hope you feel better soon Ancasta - don't overdo it with all those jobs - sounds like you need to put your feet up!
Had grand plans to get up early and blitz the ironing but it didn't quite happen (bed was much more attractive) so managed to get through approx 6 items. Will tackle the rest when I get home later.
Long day at work today so am going for a lazy dinner out of the freezer (hm chilli con carne) which I can nuke in the microwave later.
See y'all later.0 -

well sorta for me.. aint been to bed yet!! - my night off work last night but i accidentally slept allllll day yesterday when i got home from work (planned on sleeping 8am-12pm then getting up slept 8am-8pm! :rotfl:) So have sat up in bed all night just playing on the net and watching DVDs i rented (for free.. im DVD tarting!)
Came down now though and am sitting here eating some lovely granary toast (HM by the nice baker in tesco :rotfl: ) with my mums homemade jam on!:j Yummy! Having a quick looksie on ebay for a few things... then rest of the days plan is hopefully:
1. Go tidy and clean my room
2. go for a shower and do my roots (black hair and blonde roots isnt good!)
4. Sort out my paperworky stuff (must do my taxback claim letter!!)
3. Go into town to use some vouchers i have and see if any sales bargains left to put towards Xmas etc.
4. Try and get some listings on ebay done
5. Ring up about driving lessons.. i WILL do this this week
6. Ring/email about a night class that starts in sept (GCSE Accountancy! )
Then have to see if my friend has got tonight off work or not... if so he'll probably come round later to watch a DVD and have a few beersIf not its a night of tv and erm.. i dunno!
Get better soon Ancasta :grouphug:0 -
