Evening all:hello:
Have finally got my new P.c Keyboard, I can finally join in properly again:j .
Today I've started the packing for our holiday. Camping in North Norfolk. Wish me luck with all this rain!! This will be the first time the children have been camping, and they're all getting very excited. They're still trying to persuade me to take the breadmaker with me as no one wants to go back to shop bought bread. I'm still not sure. I worry about blowing the campsite electrics,as it goes into baking mode, or the queue of campers thinking that we've opened a bakers!
We're really skint this week having bought a new car and tent and camping gear ( all second hand), so I've been soing the store cupboard challenge, and still have loads left in the freezer. for when we return from our holiday broke again.
Hope all those who are feeling poorly sick, get better soon. Have a good day tommorow everyone.0 -
Hope im in the right section to post this,
Yahooo i used my first vinigar dose in the washer and couldnt believe that it didnt stink,i tried it on the towels first because thats the only thing i wouldnt like to be rough and crispy. Now that i know it works i will be able to go and purchase a larger quantity of vinegar as the little bottle i baught cost me 61p and i was thinking at the time it was probably cheaper in the long run to buy comfort.Im gobsmacked that this works.0 -
Morning!
Terrible weather here, im up early as im in pain so am going to the Walk in centre which opens at 7am, I hope they can sort me out, I dont feel good!
As im awake though, im going to hopefully get some shopping done, and do the laundry today, I have loads to do (have to go to Laundrette so always end up having loads to doI leave it till the last minute, I really want a washer/drier in the house). Not much else to do really, the house is clean and I dont really feel like doing anything else either!
Im going to go on a healthy day today, feeling ill has inspired me to look at what we are eating, I think more fruit and veg is in order.
Will post again later, must get dressed and go and get some help!

:hello: Morning everyone :hello:
Well, I've been up for a couple of hours now - makes up for me being such a lazy toad yesterday, doesn't it?! I need sleep though. Ah well, I'm sure a little snooze later will come in handy.
Got loads to do today. A friend phoned me last night (who I haven't seen for ages) and reminded me that we're meeting up for lunch today. Ooops. I'll have to steer her towards Wetherspoons, what with me being really rich at the moment
We've also got the letting agents coming round today to do their six monthly check - ie make sure we're not trashing the place. Unfortunately, the room where the computer is looks more like a dumping ground and less like a room! I'm hoping that by 4.30pm today it will look a little better.
Need to get round to making those cakes for our holiday/the freezer too.
Where to start?

Morning everyone! absolutely pouring with rain here in Birmingham - boo hiss. No chance of any washing getting dry today. Am just about to head off to Wetherby - what's the weather like up there?
Sorry to hear you're still feeling bad Jo - hope you managed to get in at the walk in centre OK.
Don't forget that Supermarket Secrets is on tonight - I haven't quite decided whether to watch it or not - yet. Saw the trailer last night and it might put me off eating ANYTHING!
Have a good day.0 -
The merge is done now

'morning everyone
Up early this morning writing an urgent report for work. Had a message on my mobile last night asking if I could do it as someone else wasn't available.
Hopefully should be a normal day at work ... no more emergencies. OH is currently loading the breadmaker so we will have lovely fresh bread when we get in tonight.
It's raining here too ... but the garden desparately needs the water so I'm not complaining.Enjoying an MSE OS life0 -
morning
Nothing much O/S planned today cos its miserable out and im back in work tonight. Was going to go into the city centre to spend my vouchers for boots i have but i dont know if i can be bothered getting soaked  Really should go though cos they run out this weekend and im not sure i can let a £10 electrical voucher and a 10% off one go to waste..
If i can get the motivation i might try decluttering my room later. Have to see though.. im feeling lazy!
Didnt get to see my best friend last night cos his work needed him desperatelyGutted because i only get to see him wed nights because of our work schedules.... But suppose on the plus saved some money cos we were going to treat ourselves to a Pizza and a few beers.. will just do it next week instead.
ack well gotta crack on with some computer issue dad has left for me to sort :rolleyes:0 -
Walk in centre people were lovely, although there isnt too much they can recommend right now except painkillers and ibuprofen ("preferably both"), they say I need to see my doctor today.
Ive made an appointment for this afternoon (its a miracle - god knows how I got a same day appointment, thats rare for here!) so heres hoping ill get something to help then. I feel a little tired now, as I only had about 2.5hours sleep because of the discomfort, so I think ill try sleeping again shortly.
Anyway, I wont make you all miserable, I promise ill come back when im feeling a bit chirpier!
