Hi Everyone

(((hugs))) ronankfan - I know exactly where you are coming from, my Dad has dementia and doesn't know me either. Can't hold a conversation, can eat and drink with assistance. Really got to me before Xmas had handled it up to then.

Good day at Elche, beautiful church there. Wind really got up, but it was a warm wind. Went back to see the consultant tonight, told him all my woes, worries, fears, he is one of the really "gentle" type of people and is so nice and polite with his comments. One was, "you may feel young and healthy in your head, but please remember your joints are not as young as you feel any more". Rather than "don't forget you are an old so and so!". He thinks it is arthrtis, but wants a blood test to ensure nothing hiding behind that. Changed my anti-inflamatories(sp), so will report how we go. Blood test tomorrow morning and back to see him on the 28th.

Diet starts tomorrow as friends leave, think some weight off will not go amiss and must surely help.

evening all

I have managed the amazing feat of dishing up dinner in the tiny window between mine and dd11's viewing choices this evening - mostly dr who, hollyoaks and torchwood (her) and martin's prog (me) - missed the first half though - gutted - is there a repeat?

a couple of weeks back I got an easiyo in the julian graves sale and have only made lumpy gone off milk. In a last ditch effort I whizzed up the lumpy gone off milk tonight - result - yogurt. I have left it in the firdge to see if it goes back into lumps so fingers crossed that I'm not back here later trying to find a recipe for yogurt cheese :)

Stupid row with collegue at w*rk - at thirty eleven I'm the youngest on the section so you'd think the playground would be far behind us but alas .....

right off to finish noisy things like WM and BM before the start of the long-awaited torchwood - I shall use any spare time doing breath exercises as I apparantly breathe too loudly whenever dd11's progs are on

hugs to those with family worries and health problems

• Evening all

RONANKFAN AND DONNY sorry to hear your sad news and hugs to you

DLB glad your friend is ok, sounds like you managed fine.

Went to Wilkinsons this morning. Managed to get Stardrops, am impressed. Also got 2 different types of seed potatoes, a rhubarb crown, 3 garlic sets, a redcurrant bush and three early strawberries. Have planted some. Potatoes are chitting on window ledge in spare room.

Tea was tuna, rice and salad. Off to watch Torchwood.

Have a good night all:A xxxx

Hello all,

Ronankfan...hugs

Sola...let me know how you do if you decide to put OH on Freecycle...probably nobody willing to take my OH but if you test the market will think about it!

Nothing strange to-day, dinner for some of us was pasta, sauce and fish...not enough spuds for all and was determined not to go shopping. Went down well, so might try it again just for variety.

Weather miserable, damp and cold...hate it as you can't do anything outside.

Hugs to everyone else needing one,

Marie

Hi,

DLB, lucky you were there when your friend passed out, hope she recovers soon.
Not achieved much today (again).

Just had more 'words' with DD about getting off the 'phone and getting some prep done. It's like an ongoing battle, so I've just unplugged the landline. :)
I think that tomorrow I will move her computer into the kitchen so as I can keep more of a beady eye on what she is up to, rather than trusting her to get on with work.

Hugs to all

Good evening everyone!

Can't believe I'm so late posting on the daily thread!
I blame Dh who was working from home today so I couldn't get on the pc even though he was using the work laptop he had it set up iright next to our pc!!

Good thing was it made me do some jobs and I sorted out all the presents in the presents cupboard and I wrote down what was for whom throughout the year birthdays etc and eve some for Christmas!! So noe I'm very pleased with myself! Just home from a pta meeting so all go as usual.

Homemade soup for us all for tea which was yummy and hopefully low fat!

Will try and check in a bit earlier tomorrow!

Good night, sweet dreams everyone xxx

I had added a bit which gave a wave to anyone who knew me on the thread, but lost this d@mn connection again and so you only got half my message. The other bit said if you get fed up of hearing about over here then just tip me the wink.

Take care
