DH and I have been de cluttering DDs room - a wardrobe is on the landing ready to be swapped round to spare bedroom.
Will ask DD which chest of drawers she wants in her new bedroom and need to get that and the wardrobe cleared of what still fits etc.
Rump steak with carrots, onions and turnip is in the slow cooker and potatoes and turnip are on the hob ready to be made into mash!
It is now ten days snce I have eaten any bread apart from one home made bread roll and I feel less bloated for it! My clothes seem a bit looser too.
Hugs to anyone not feeling well and see you all later.
Feel quite smug as DD phoned from Oxord asking for her medical card number and I was able to get it in about 30 seconds!!!!!;)"This site is addictive!"

Hello everyone, Well, today has been busy. went to my weigh in and i'd put on a pound and so was back on target weight. Went to market and got loads of veg. Made shep pie for tonight from reduced steak mince from Mr T's + extra for freezer. Made huuuge veg curry (i'm the only one who will eat a hot curry so made it extra hot for me). Three curries for the freezer and one for tomorrow - mmmm. stripped our bed and currently out on line making the most of the rare dry day.
Now going to settle down and start at the beginning of the thread and hope that I don't get any interruptions. Both the boys are on the trampoline in the garden, also making the most of dry day. So I might even get to read the thread in one sitting! Hope you have all had a good day.Proud to have dealt with my debts. Nerd number 288:j Debt free date Dec 07 :EasterBun

Afternoon All
Am sitting here with no moustache (sp again - if I keep trying different ways I might get it right once) & lovely neat eyebrows, took a painkiller but was still painful and my eyes were watering for ages - I am such a wuss.
Got car stuck in the grassy bit outside beauticians which was very embarassing but eventually made it home safe and sound. Didnt do filing job today but house is clean and sparkly and no ironing.
Definately going to try for an early night tonight - lucky it Pays to Watch is on nice and early.
Off now, no more waffling.

One word.
Bonjella.
Yup, the stuff you use on babies! Smear it on and wait for a few mins for it to work and then pluck away to your hearts content, if you are waxing, wipe it off first.
It is a local anesthetic and does take away quite a bit of the ouch factor0 -

Excellent Tip! I gonna try this on my Bikini line, I'm in so much pain waxing it - I know TMI - sorry.
Is there a cheaper option than Bonjella, Do supermarket do their brandthis is OS after all?
I'm busy cleaning and tidying, my OH is meeting a FEMALE colleague at my house tomorrow then drive onto a client, I will have to be up early and wash my hair, the colleague is a stunner (seen a photograph of her) and I must make effort to makeup myself up a wee bit, either that or I'll go into town to avoid being totally fed up at her slim figure, neat hair etc etc.
Take care and enjoy your evening, not much on TV so I gonna spend it in the bathroom making myself beautiful, I could be there sometime!

Hello All
OH still out doing the collections. I forgot the dog was back at the vets for another check up! She has an ulcer in her cornea. Her blood vessels are growing nicely to repair it. Have to go back again on Sat. She still on eye drops & tablets!
Well - a pat on the back for me!!!! I have finally plucked up the courage to claim back my charges of late payment fees and over credit limit fees on my credit cards! I only have the 2, which are slowly being paid off (£470 I owe between them) Thanks to Martin's weekly email who came at the right time as I just received both my statements! Letters have been written now & will be posted tomorrow, in an attempt to gain my list of past charges and then take it from there.
Fish & oven chips slowly cooking away in the oven. That was going to be tomorrow's dinner, but at least I have mince in the freezer which I can use in the place of!
Have a good evening

ok I'm back after having a snooze. It's a while since i've done that during the day but I haven't been sleeping well and everything seemed overwhelming and w a h !!!
When I was out briefly this morning my youngest dog unhooked the child-proof cupboard and ate 2 fruit slabs things (cakes!!) 2 packs of jelly and a cup a soup! I could tell it was her because a) she is a thief and b) she had orange jelly stuck to her mouth like a moustache. My older very sensible dog was making 'you won't believe what she's done' eyes at me. So...only one dog got tea tonight and I'm limiting the other one to just tiny drinks of water so everything doesn't swell up. She's ok, just looks a bit stuffed. i would too if I'd eaten 2 cakes.
Have started some braised liver and onions for my tea and that should do tomorrow as well.
I look forward to watching Martin's programme.

wmf I :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: laughed out loud at this, and read it to my OH and DD. I have a small dog like this too, OH and I once treated ourselves to a bar of chilli chocolate from a posh choccie shop, cost a lot for us, any hoo, we popped up the shop for 10 mins, choc was in OH rucksack with zip done up, got back and dog had undone zip and eaten the whole bar  , boy did she have a bad tummy the next day. Is your dog a terrier by any chance0 -

:rotfl: we have had the same with our Jack Russell, twice he's managed to get past the child gate and sneak upstairs where he's eaten penguins, treacle tarts, mini rolls and lots more that I had hidden for lunchboxes! All we found were a lot of empty packets and a very fat looking little dog!:D The empty packets met me at the bottom of the stairs!:DDo what you love :happyhear0 -
