It looks like they are still using the same practice of advertising at low prices but not providing the goods - In other words they keep your money and gain interest on your hard earned cash but dont provide the goods.

I ordered a graphics tablet from this company costing £560 (Sunday) - listed as in stock and paid a delivery fee 2-3 days guaranteed. On the 3rd day (Tuesday) I telephoned them to enquire when it would be delivered as I hadnt received a despatch notice but the money had been taken from my account (Cost 5p per min). I was told that there was a stock issue with my item but that had been resolved, it was now in stock and that it would be despatched that day, I wasnt happy as If I would have known it was out of stock I would have ordered elsewhere, I wanted it for a birthday pressie - but they refunded me delivery costs (£6.90) as a good will gesture AND assured me the item was on its way. I was told that the item would be with me by Saturday at the VERY latest.
Low and behold, it didn't arrive. I rang them again this morning, they informed me that my goods hadn't been despatched because of a technical issue with my payment - this left my bank account over a week ago - and no one bothered to call me to inform me of this so called issue. They are obviously gaining interest on your hard-earned money but not supplying the goods advertised. God knows how long I will have to wait to get back my money. I will be reporting them to the French Government Trades people.
Dont be taken in by cheaper prices on their .co.uk website. Avoid like the plague!!!! Just not worth the hassle.

Of course they are doing it all for interest, the 2p they've earned from your money that they will end up refunding far outweighs the cost of the phone line and member of staff who took your call.
  • I was looking to buy a projector and Pixmania had the cheapest price. After reading all the bad reviews I was pretty sceptical but I decided to give it a try anyway and I ordered the projector from them.
A few hours after placing the order, it was marked as not confirmed (no payment was taken thought). I started fearing and I send them an email straight away asking for clarifications. It was a Friday when I wrote them and I haven't received a reply until the next Monday (they probably don't work during the weekend). But from Monday onwards, they had been contacting me at each step of the order, giving tracking number, and ensuring that I had received the parcel ok. I have received the parcel about a week after placing the order and 4-5 days after it was confirmed.
So overall, I sweated a bit in fear at the beginning but it was all good at the end and customer service was quite good.
  • I have just had my first negative experience with Pixmania. I purchased a ride on car 6.5 months ago. Bare in mind that this car has not been used throughout the winter months and so has only been charged about 5 times. Anyway, the sun is shining and so got the car out for my little one and the PSU appears to be dead. Contacting Pixmania, I am told that I need to contact Feber direct. So, I contacted Feber only to be told that the item only has a 6 month warranty! Contacted Pixmania again as the product is clearly advertised as having a 12 month commercial warranty and they have offered a £20 credit towards the new charger which costs £35! Cheek. Surely this is not right? I have sent another email of complaint to them as the other option of shipping the whole ride on car, now built, is obviously out of the question and so surely a new PSU will makes more sense. I will quite happily post the ortiginal PSU to them. Not only that, I have spent £10,000+ with them in the past and so loyalty obviously plays no part in their decision.
