Mooloo's struggle with babies and bills

I have really tried to have a proactive day today.
I am getting tired now. I have managed to tidy up the kitchen, move on some washing/drying, research a pain website. Made several calls, and of course all the odds n sods I had to do this morning while I was out. It doesnt look much, but for me thats quite a bit compared to some of the days I have had just lately.
Wondered why I was in more pain then normal just now, and realised that I had missed my lunchtime tablets. Twit!!
Now I want to just research the oldstyle thread for how to unblock the shower in the ensuite, cos I cant have a shower until I do.!!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Well I have read the oldstyle on Drains, and the nearest I have is Baking Powder and white vinegar, so I have just put some of them down the plug in the shower. Its bubbling away. Hope it will help, and will poor a kettle of boiling water down on it in a little while. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0

OK, so I have decided to order some Family Organisers for the fridge, with stickers etc and todolist/shopping lists that will hopefully help me to keep the family sorted out. I realise its an expense that I hadnt planned for, but I think that the twins will take more notice of it, then of a list I do on the computer. We will see. I await the order with anticipation.
I think its time for me to stop now. Arm had enough for a while now.
Maybe a bit of Midsumer Murders on the TV! ( Oh Blip I have seen it before !)When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Just realised that my Tax reminder hadnt come, then when I looked in my file, My Log book hasnt been returned since I sent it off in November. Rang them and they never received it, now I have to pay £25 to have it replaced! I am gutted. I cant even tax it on line now, I willhave to take it to the DVLA with my mot cert, insurance and i.d.
Yet another thing that has to be dealt with that I wasnt expecting. Dam n blast!!!!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
A bit of an up and down day for you today, Mooloo.
I hope you managed to get your eu suite unblocked. I rented an appartment a few years ago and it took my landlord, estate agents, Development foreman, NI water men. Everyday for 2 full weeks.....finally got it sorted. Apparently the renters before me had been asked to leave and in a fit of wickedness had flushed a FULL pack of toilet cleaner wipes down the loo!!
I suppose it is the joys of renting.:o
Anyway, I hope tomorrow is alot better for you.LBM May 2007 -£20584!!! (£18k is ex-husbands-nice guy, eh? )

Biggest of Mooloo's BF came in and showed me how to take the top of the plug hole off, and took out a really gunky filter!! Mind you it didnt smell quite so bad as it had had 2 lots of bicarb and vingegar. Hes just used the shower successfully!!
I have been looking at the £4,000 a year challenge, but its taking me ages to read it.
Now I have been signed off work for the next 13 weeks, my money is going to be even less, and then DS informs me its only 17 more weeks of school before he leaves.. So then my money will reduce even more!! He will have to find work ASAP and pay rent too. I cannot imagine how much lower the income could drop. So now I am really going to have to look to my spending.Doesnt help having a huge big car to run, especially when a lot of the time I dont even have any passangers, or maybe only one or two. Its very rare we all go out together these days!! (But its there when we do!)When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
My mum is exactly the same about the big car. Maybe three, four times a year when we all go away together to the beach.
But she refuses to get rid of it.LBM May 2007 -£20584!!! (£18k is ex-husbands-nice guy, eh? )

I wouldnt refuse to get rid of it, but I dont have any money to get a smaller one, and of course then you bet your bottom dollar everyone will want to go somewhere at the same time. I wish I could afford to have a smaller car, as a second car, but thats a pipe dream isnt it. Although the twins want to learn to drive (god help us), and would not be able to do it in the Sharan. !!
I am exhausted. I think I have done enough for today. Shoulders ache as the computer is at the wrong hight on this table. Time to stop and say goodnight.
tomorrow I am taking my friend into Northampton and then off to BF,s in the afternoon, so not sure when I will manage to get back on here. Mayge Friday morning at BF's if he is at work, as I will be at a loose end.!!
Night anyone thats reading this!!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Have a nice weekend and a rest ???

Well I had a lovely long weekend. It felt like I was nearly on Holiday.
We had a lovely meal out on Thursday, I got to sleep in on Friday, Saturday and Sunday!. BF cooked a lovely meal for us on Friday, and we went out again on Saturday night with friends of BF, well they are becoming my friends too.
I had to wait until the evening thought, to collect BBJ from his other grandparents, becuase Twin2 managed to get someone else to take her and the baby to them on Saturday. She had the cheek to charge them the petrol money, even though they were not originally expecting the baby. I feel, and so does her sisters that she just wanted to "off load" BBJ so she could go out.
I had calm, but I believe that there was abit of friction here at home.
Twin2 being the main problem. Her attitude has been quite bad. She went out Saturday, was asked to be home by 10am on Sunday, by biggest of Mooloo, and she didnt come home until after 3pm. Then she stormed back out again, for a few more hours. She was back at home when I got home. Was a bit humble then.
She has not managed to get this weeks Income Support paid to me, apparantly it will be next week. So another week of her not having any money.
Mencap got back to me today. They dont operate in this area. They are going to see if there is anyone out there that can help me. Suggest I go back to Social Services.
Work have finally laid me off. I had a letter on Thursday morning saying they were considering it, and to contact the office. I did that this morning and told my contract will be terminated as of today, I will apparantly be paid a months wages in liue of notice. So I have to now claim the new Employments and Support Allowance, which apparantly is £60.50 a week. I will also loose my Tax credits, so the money will be extremely low and my budget will be stretched to the limit. Hopefully the wages will cover getting the car taxed and the new paperwork that I need to do it.
I have been to the local leisure centre gym today. I have booked an appointment to start a health regieme. I can go for 12 weeks, then I will need another doctors referrel if I want to continue. The cost will be £1.80 a session.
As I had the telephone conversation with BHF today, I feel very low. Silly I know that I was going to have to loose my job, but the finality of it really has put me on a low.
I will have to look back on the lovely weekend and try to cheer myself up.!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
