Hi everyone, Well I am in the house. Its huge, although with all the stuff we had it doesnt look quite so big. where did it all fit in the flat is beyond me.
Luck seems to be changing. I am unable to access the internet at home yet, but today my parents came to visit me. At the same time I had a call from my dd1, her BF found me a 2nd hand car. So I am here with M&D, overnight, and tomorrow I go back to my big house, with a car too!! Work is also in negotiations for me to go back on a trial part time basis, for 16 hours a week, to see if my arm can cope, on the condition I dont do any lifting!. Thats going to be at the end of next week. Bank balance be a bit low, with all the final bills etc to come, but I think we have finally turned a corner. Thanks to everyone for the support and encouragement. I will be back soon once I get BBand set back up. HOpe everyone is well, and MSE watching tonight. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -

Good to hear from you Mooloo, and glad to hear that you've survived the upheaval. Great news about the car and the job. Has your dog found a new home? I hope so.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Hi all,
I am still unable to access the internet at home, monumental problems with Sky broadband being able to transfer me. Its going to be next monday 18th now. I have been talking to them till I am blue in the face but they are not listening. When I asked to move house, they just cancelled the contract and didnt re book it, so a week after I thought I would get it in, I had to order it apparantly. I have argued till I am blue in the face its their fault, as I ordered it, before I even moved but they are not budging. Threatened to cancel it al together, but I dont know who else I would use? Calmed down a bit now, but its so frustrating.
We still have stuff all over the place. After the move, I had Physio that was a bit rougher than normal. All last week I was unable to do much at all. Couldnt even drive my secondhand new car!! Well its not very new, its a P reg same as my other car, but its got 6 seats and it goes!!
Am at DBF just checking out the email. Came over to do the Valentine stuff, or at least start it, doing a meal etc for tonight. Missing the contact with everyone, here and on Hypnos thread. I know that with out being on line I have spent much more than I would normally, as I have been wandering around the local shopping centre near the new house, and been tempted into bits and pieces for the house. I also have been buying odds and sodds in the local shop, as I cant access Tesco for the online delivery. Went to tesco yesterday and spent £120 and I find it harder to shop, as I get tempted, where as on line, I just get what I nearly always get. Ah well.
The girls are liking the fact that they have a room each. Although they are still like two bombsites.
Social say that they are going to withdraw the funding for BBJ, so I am not thrilled as that means loosing £600 a month. What with the higher rent and rates and every penny that I will earn, when I go back to work, tomorrow, will be taken off of me, for the rent. Government Guidelines say that anything over £123.03 must go into the calculations for the rent/rates benefits. That includes my sons maintenance from his dad. They wont count the girls and the babies in the calculation, only my son and I. So I think now I need to find a benefits expert to help me.?
Tomorrow I have a meeting at work, to see if they really can help me to get back into work, but having talked to my GP and my Physio, its not going to work if I do anything repetative or any lifting, as I will end up back at square one. So we will see what the talks bring up tomorrow. Due to go back on monday then. As I said hope to get my broadband up and running by Monday. So not sure when i will next get a chance to jump on here.
Got a beautiful valentines card, flowers, chocolates and a few other bits, felt like christmas had come again.
So far I am liking February!!!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Hi Mooloo
Thanks for the update.. Booo to the broadband, so frustrating in the midst of the chaos of moving. MSE could have been a little escape from it!!! Grrr
As for the funding for BBJ what has changed since they originally said they could give the funding??
Sorry can't help with the benefit side but maybe worth posting on the Benefits Board about it??
Valentines pressies and a meal tonight sounds like a lovely day well deserved.

Dont think anything has really changed at home. Except Twin2 now can go to the meetings with her boyfriend on her own, and I dont have to be with her 24/7? So I suppose thats why. I still have a lot of hands on with her and the bbj care though? I was only proposing to go back to work 16 hours, so the actual social worker had said that it shouldnt matter as I am still caring for a lot of hours over the 35? I havent got the time to look today, its mid day near as dam and I am still sitting here at BF and not gone home!. Twin1 was still in bed, twin2 has gone to her meeting. Son has gone to school. Well I better go, I keep saying I am going and then I just want to loiter on here, and catch up with everything. I also want to be more motivated as the money saving has slipped over the last 2 weeks what with the move, buying the car and not having my internet.!!
How are you doing Keeping Motivated? I hope all is well with you.
take care everyone and I will be back next week, unless I find access else where. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0
