Well, I am here, I think. The sky is supposed to be up and running today, but I have had nothing but trouble with it all evening. I am determind to get an entry here before I finally go to bed. So much has changed over the last few days. I had a wonderful Valentines day. And have managed plenty of time out over the weekend with BF. Was my Mums bday yesterday, we went and took her and Dad out for lunch. Briefly saw DD1, and salvedged some personal stuff from the old car. Now its going to have to go to the scrap yard as I dont have anywhere for it to be parked to be able to try and sell it off for parts etc. Typically the things it has I need dont transfer from a Peugeot to a Volkeswagon.!
On Friday I had negotiations with the temporary area manager, and it has been agreed that I go back to work on a months trial to see if I can cope. On the grounds that I dont lift. and follow Health and Safety policy. We did a risk assessment, for what thats going to be worth.
Social have taken away twin2's taxi funding and she now has been allowed £10 a week for busfares to take her to see the father etc. I have spent £34 today buying a monthly bus pass, as I thought that that would be better in the long run. We will be £6 in profit. (presuming I do get that funding from them). Although they still havent said anything about the £600. But I know that that is due to end, and that the review is unlikely to come up. Lets face it. They have stopped, or reduced everything else!.
I went back to work today. Supposed to do 4 hours. was there for 7. The paperwork is in such a mess! Unbelievable. My mission is to sort out the Gift Aid as its in practical shut down at the moment. Signed up 7 people for it today. Now its up to the sort room staff to get the stock out. I am not in tomorrow its my Physio.
Both babies are doing well. Mums have finally sorted out their rooms, and they are beginning to follow tick lists a little bit. Hopefully they will do more as the time goes by. But if I dont leave a list nothing happens.
DS went to his Dads for the weekend. So hardly seen him. But he seems fine. Its half term here, so no school. Means that I get to have a bit of a lie in. Physio is half an hour later than normal too.
I must admit that I was only planning to do the 4 hours at work and then leave, but I wanted to finish what I had started sorting. I felt alive for the first time in ages. But too what cost,? Time will tell. Lets hope that this month has actually been the start of something better. Having the sitting room and a bedroom to myself has been an amazingly strange feeling. So used to everyone being on top of each other.
Twin2 is seeing less and less of the babies father. She is fed up of his drugs habit, (thank god), and starting to lay the law down with him. Lets hope that that stands, and is not just a phase.
Well I suppose I have just about caught up now. Hope everyone that lurks are fine and that life is improving for everyone.

HI Mooloo, I was very glad to read such a positive post. Great that you are back at work - really hope that works out and you can stay on and increase your hours. And great that Twin2 is coming to her senses about her boyfriend. Hope things continue to improve after your very difficult time.

My focus has now got to be on finding a new home for the dog. The BF has reminded me that he cannot keep him much longer. The friends that he had lined up for him have let us down. Now I need to find him a new home fast. Bit of a bumber, the only down side of things. It was lovely going over there for the weekend, and being able to walk the dog, and see him. The thought of loosing him has got to be faced now though. I am really worried what will happen to him?

Twins have gone into town together. So I am sitting at home in my new little sitting room. But its cold on the floor, my feet are freezing. The other room is warmer, but its full of baby stuff so I want to be comfortable. But the problem is I dont dare turn up the heating as its over 20 on the dial! Looks like I need to get socks on and slippers and get out of my shoes. My feet are cold.

Yes I do feel a lot better. The arm pain seems to be under control, as long as I dont go driving. Think twins are home. So its going to get hectic here now. Been on a different thread trying to get the info about rehoming Duke. Thats the only thing thats a bit down. I am looking forward to work tomorrow, and getting my teeth into the back log of Gift aid that we had just started to do, and has been left as last. I really believe that I can make a difference and increase the profits for the charity. Its re training the staff. There are a few new people there who I have not met, having been off of work for nearly 5 months. I have been to Physio today, so am a bit sore.

The British Heart Foundation. I work in the Oxford shop. Nothing glamourous, and we come across some rather manky stuff at times. But then we get a few gems that will bring in the funds. Its a hard job, but the satisfaction of rehoming things and raising funds for such a good cause is rewarding.
