I rang the council again today. Moto is keep on bashing away. Result is I am going to look at a 6 bedroomed house(well one that they have used the dining and sitting room as bedrooms) tomorrow with my DBF.:j I dont know the costs yet. But I am on a buzz, best make sure I keep my feet on the ground and be practical about it all.
On another note I have been a bit more domesticated today, and made the first loaf of bread in the bread machine since I moved in here. I also made a leek and potato soup for lunch, and then a beef casserole this evening.! Think I might even make a fruit Jelly for tomorrow.! :T
    Physio in the morning again.
    Neurologist on Thursday.
Now all I need is to be able to adapt my job to suit my abilities, and the world would be a lot rosier than its been of late.!!
Both girls sitting happily watching tv with both babies asleep, even the dog is fast asleep on the sofa (hes not supposed to be there!!). So I am off for a bath me thinks.
Perhaps 2008 may be a better year after all.

Hi all, sorry I havent had the chance to post on here for a day or two properly.
I went to look at the house on Monday night with one of the twins, and then again last night with DBF. Its a bit shabby, but its got the space we need. A couple of downsides is I will not be able to keep my dog. I am now looking to have to have him rehoused, which is breaking my heart but I have to put the rest of the family first.
I have spoken to the council and asked them to investigate further, as nobody seems to know what the rent is going to be, and what benefits etc I will be entitled to. So its all now in the hands of the council workers and how they all liase etc with each other, and I wait with bated breath to see if the price is right and I can afford it. If its all go, then I could move within two weeks. !! Gosh from stagnant to supersonic in 3 days.
I was a physio yesterday so I struggled with aches and pains yesterday and now today I am not feeling too good.
I am still behind with my daily fly round the house, and am now expecting a visit from the social worker in half an hour.
My sister got back to france ok, and was happy to have seen her grandchildren, and mine. May see her again in another 18 months then.
Mr T delivered late last night, my large order, as it was £112 plus, but they have missed off all the frozen delivery!! So no chops ice cream or frozen veg.
They said they will redeliver to me today. Then I have to ring up and get the delivery charge cancelled afterwards??? Why cant they just deliver it without all that polava? are they hoping that I would not ring up to get it cancelled and forget it? Ah but I am on MSE so I will be chasing my money.

Mooloo some good news maybe but not for your dog. I know people who live in flats sometimes aren't allowed pets but I have never heard of them not being allowed in a council house ? If he really does have to go please can I recommend the Dog's Trust. Hope everything works out for you. Take care. XX

The council are not housing me, it is a private landlord and he has a dog of his own that is in yard behind as a guard dog, apparanty he is out side all time, so would bark at mine, all day, so thats why. I will look into Dogs Trust if I get that house. Thanks for idea, I think i was blinded by the fact i love the dog and didnt want to loose him. the practicalities of how, where and when haddent really occurred to me.

Hi Mooloo, are there any websites or noticeboards in the area where you could post an ad for your dog?

Hi Seaxwyn, hows it going? I cannot believe it, I am going to move next week!! Into a 6 roomed property, a couple of miles away from here. THe council will pay housing benefit for me, and I will only have to pay the same rent I am paying here now. I cannot believe it. I got a call this morning, and its all manic, go go go. Sad part is I will need to re house the dog. So I will probably go to the dogs trust or pdsa or somewhere, to make sure he is housed properly. My only regret is having to loose him. But to think that a week ago it was all so negative!!!

Hi Mooloo. Congratulations on the new house! That's really great news. I have just read your thread and wanted to say I think you are doing an amazing job caring for your family. It seems you are really trying to work through things and make changes to improve life for everyone. I'm sure loads of people would just wallow in self pity (you are, by the way, allowed to do this sometimes ;)).

    Good luck and keep going.

Hooray!!!! That is such brilliant news! 4 bedrooms and 2 sitting rooms! It's such a shame your dog can't go with you, I hope you find him a happy new home. But great that you now have a good base for your children and grandchildren, and not forgetting yourself of course.

Do you know what I am looking forward to the most? A BEDROOM. Yipee, we all get to get a bedroom, and I get to have a bath without interuptions cos nobodys going to want the loo, as there is a downstairs loo!!.
Been to sign for the lease today, on the move next weekend. Bonus is that it is part furnished, so DBF and I got to look at what furniture we needed to keep and what we didnt want today. Good thing is there are new 3 piece suite in black leather, so I get to be the first to use it. Havent kept much else, the odd wardrobe, as we have everything else here.
I am so excited. You would think I had won the pools. !!!
time to go and cook the tea. Chicken Piri piri. and stir fry veg. Bit of a mix.
