I am 2 days down the line, and still dont appear to have got my act together. I am going around in circles and the kids are not conforming as yet.!! Need to focus on small things as the big picture seems to be swamping everyone at the moment.
So Twins are off to the mother and baby club now. Least the sun is trying to shine. I am trying to keep the washing moving, so that we take clean stuff with us, just incase I cant plumb the machine in at the other end.
My Dad has organised the reconnection of the telephone at the new house, for Monday. So I need to call sky to sort that out. Infact perhaps I better do that now. Catch you later.

  • Hi Mooloo thanks for the update. I have to say I don't envy you the move but the result of all the hard work will mean a lot to all of you so I suppose that thought will keep you going.

Would it help you to put a 'to do list' on your thread then you can tick them off as they are done and it might you give you a focus and a guide plus a psychological boost as you see things ticked off?

Hi, Keeping Motivated. I think that you might be right. Posting a list may make me do it all better.
At the moment I have lost the thread of doing things. I think its kettle on, and then get my head around my list while no babies around to distract me.
    I have to stop panicing.!!!

I am just going to ring sky and see if I can change my stuff over to the new house, although I dont know the new telephone number. Being without computer/internets not going to be a thing the kids, or I would like to be.!!Made my cup of tea. Checked my emails. Emailed DBF and see if he can nudge me into all the things we mentioned over the weekend. and then see what I can prioritise for today.
Me thinks I have moved so many times, why am I in a daze about it all today?

DBF has been to the rescue today. Keeping me motivated, via phone calls.
Dont have time to post a todo list, I could have done it by then!!
Probably wont be around much over the next week or so. Tomorrow is back to the physio for my regular weekly treatment. Pop into work to see if its still there, so I will have to get my skates back on in the housework in the afternoon. Luckily I dont have to hand over and move all in one day. I at least can spread it over a few days, if needed. So why am I panicing. No need to panic.
Twin2 has another social worker coming tomorrow, to start her "parenting Abilities" tests. Wonder if all new mothers had them what they would come up with?
Time for a cup of tea and a bit of work in word.

Hi Mooloo. I just looked in to see how you are getting on with packing up. Hope you're on top of things and good to know you have a bit of leeway. Best of luck with the move - always stressful but just think how much less cramped you'll be at the end of it.

Just a quick line, as I wait for the taxi to take me to physio. Probably not got as much done as I wanted to, but I have to be careful I dont put all the good physio work to pot. I want to be able to go back to work soon as I can.
At least see if i can do it, anyway.
Trying to motivate the twins is the hardest. As DBF suggested I have just said that if they dont sort out the room they are in now, they wont get separate rooms the otherend. I will dump all the stuff in one room and they will sleep in the other!!! I'd like to threaten a few other things, but thats not worth doing unless I can carry it out.
K Onwards and upwards. speak again soon, Mooloo

Well its the calm before the storm. We got the keys to the house last night, and start the move this afternoon. So I wont be about much. Twins room still looks like the bomb. ?Reminded them of the threat again this morning. Sitting on my hands so I dont do any damage. Car borrowed for this afternoon. Catch you all when i am in. No broad band at new house for a few days. Takes 10days to swap it apparantly???
