Mooloo's struggle with babies and bills

Hello, I am on my daughters computer. For some reason I cannot get the BT Broadband to load onto my laptop. I am upgrading the system to BT vision, they are supposed to be coming on the 23rd to do the deed. Hopefully then I can be wireless again.
Biggest of Mooloo's is here today, she is playing on the decking with the babies and one of the mothers. Its her day off. She is going to tackle the garage. It has been a dumping ground for a lot of boxes of odds and sods, mostly my books and baby toys. We are going to make room for her stuff. When she comes to us in the new year.
BF and I are in unfamiliar territory at the moment. Neither of us can leave our families to be together for Christmas. The way the opposite other halves have worked it, it now looks like a very unlikely future, until all teenagers fly the nest!! A daunting prospect after spending the last 4 years together. Sort of puts a dampener on the whole christmas for me.
I am however looking foreward to a good christmas with the family. I have indulged in Nigella's christmas book, from Tesco yesterday.... Now I am going to see about some mince pies. While the others tackle that garage.
Merry Christmas Hester, and to everyone else.
Things can only get better, and I am hoping to turn my thoughts around to the positives and make the most of what I can do.!! Arm and neck willing.
Now I have been on the computer too long and I am in a bit of pain so the warning signs to stop must be heeded.
Take care everyone out there. xWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I really do hope you and yours enjoy Christmas! :xmastree:0

Hello, yesterday I wrote a huge long entry and must have been timed out, as it logged me off and I lost the lot. By then I had to get on as other things abeckoned me.
I wish everyone who is on here a Merry Christmas, and I hope a prosperour new year.
Yesterday the BT new home hub arrived, and so my laptop is now able to go out on Wireless from most of the house. Thank goodness, it will make things a lot easier for me, and I wont have to continue to borrow Dad's dongle.!
I wont re write everything from yesterday, just incase I am timed out again. But perhaps when I have more time, I can give a bit of a synopsis of what has been occuring over the last few days, week or what ever.
I am trying to be more positive, and hope that we will all have a better year next year.:T
Lets raise a glass to the back of a **** year, and even though there is a recession upon us, look to a great MSE year ahead. :T :T :rolleyes:When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
If you click on the 'Remember me?' box just to the right of your username and password, you shouldn't get logged out. Of course if other people are using the laptop you should log out when you're done.
In haste ... should not be here!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
I was logged on, then it disappeared when I went to submit? Then it said I had to log on. Usually it does remember me, perhaps it was because I was using my daughters laptop and I had to log in manually in the beginning.
Oh well never mind.!When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Sounds right: if you don't say 'remember me' then it automatically logs you out after a certain length of time!Signature removed for peace of mind0

Hello, well Christmas is over for another year. DS goes to his Dad tonight. Infact I have just been asked to take him, to his works, about 6 miles away, so I a cannot be on here long.
I did get BT vision but it doesnt work very well, so I have asked to cancel it. Will stick with Sky then!. But I can keep the broadband for £15.99 a month. So now I should be able to connect back on and be back on here more often. If I get the energy and the time.
Life has been a bit up and down over the last few weeks, and emotionally I have been struggling. Hence why I have not been on the computer much.
Physically its not been great and I have retired to my room, bit of a recluse for the most part. I have hardly stepped down stairs today except to make a cup of tea!.
But I am sitting in an easy chair, in the corner of my room, my son has replaced the broken ceiling spots, so I can see in the corner now.
The twins have been arguing so much, it is driving me nuts. I rang the Social Worker who they are referred to here, but of course she is on holiday until the 7th So I was basically told I had to deal with things until then. No duty social worker came out to see us, or talk to me about the problems. Twin2 is the main cause of all of the family arguements.
DS wants to go now. So I will sign off, and see if I get the chance to come back on when I have got back. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Wishing you a much happier New Year Mooloo,xxx.0
