Well managed to give the bankrupcy details to the tax man, and he said he will sort things out for me. Very nice man. which makes a change. He said if I get anymore in the post to ring him direct and he will deal with it. He is now chasing the Insolvency Agency etc to see why his department had not been informed of my Bankruptcy. Looks like I may not have to pay that bill. But apparantly I will need to fill in my own Self Assessment Tax forms. (That I never got???).

With all of the moving. My paperwork is a total and utter mess. Just realised that the filing box I am using is really not suitable to what I need. So I think I will have to re think my filing. That has also made me realise that I must get the boxes that are hanging around sorted out. Which means my bedroom, the room that should be a study, and not a dumping ground. And the garage. There are boxes in there tht I havent touched since the day I put them there when I emptied the car, on my many trips back and forewards from Oxford.

I don't know if it would suit you, but our filing 'system' is supposed to be a Lever Arch file with those punched plastic pockets in it. You can then either put all the phone bills in one, all the electricity in another, all the rent stuff in another, OR put everything from November into one, then start a new one for December. It depends how you need to find stuff again (and remember a filing system is really a FINDING system!)

In reality I look at stuff and DH puts it somewhere near the Lever Arch file. We need to sort it out ... having got a Tax Credits Compliance Check letter the other day I kept thinking of more and more pieces of paper I didn't know where to look for. The day was saved by remembering that quite a few of them were needed for DS2's student loan, and fortunately all THAT paperwork is still in one place, and I've found it!
Signature removed for peace of mind

I think the problem for me, is that I started a lever arch file, then saw one in Tesco or somewhere with pockets for Seperate things. Only problem is when I decide on a catagory to file it, it never seems to be the catagory I look for it again in!!! I have so many bits and pieces in different ones as they get full.!! Think I am going to go and look at how my Dad does his, cos he always can find everything so quickly!!!
Just entered the GMTV competition on line. What the heck. Its time I tried doing a few things differently.
Got the YOP team person coming to meet DS this afternoon. So I better think about going down stairs now and sorting the place out. Been popping up and down but thats really not enough.
    And I am hungry too!!!

Right, the YOP meeting over and done with till Next weeks Panel meeting.
Phone call from Area Manager, so had to call her back. Meet with her week on Wednesday to assess my situation.
The post arrived very late, while YOP meeting was going on. Was surprised that my wage slip was in. They have paid me £200 more than I had expected. Hope its not a mistake. Still need it to get into the bank though.
Spoke to the bank, no sign of the transactions in transit as yet. Said if its not there by tomorrow ring up and delay the Standing Order to my landlord, so save me the £19.50 charge otherwise.!!
so I am hoping that tomorrow when I log on to the bank the wages will be in, and I can transfer it to the household account ASAP.

Morning, been reading on other threads, and an hour and a half has gone by!
My wages are in, I am so relieved. I was also given a surprise as I had some wages and some SSP so I actually got about £200 more than I was expecting. My Dad had also transfered accross the Childbenefit and CSA that has been adding up in my Mums account, another £470!! So the rent is there, I am so relieved I cannot tell you.
I forgot that the child benefit and CSA were adding up since August. The only thing that goes out of that account is the SKY and since moving here the phone/broadband is no longer with sky, so its started to add up.
I am hoping to start to send some money back to them to look after for me, when I start to save for the £1,000 slush funds I want, but first I have to pay Dad back the money he leant me towards the deposit I had to pay here. But there is no time limit on that.

Lets hope that now that the funds are starting to come through I will be able to organise it better.

Hello, kneeling at the table to do this. Trying to move the "office" around and turn it into an office and not the dumping ground for the laundry. And boxes.
I havent really been on the computer most of the week. Sorry. I am OK> Bit depressed. Been going to bed early. New doctor has prescribed a different anti-depressant. Started to take it yesterday. Making me a bit sleepy at the moment. The twins and the babies all have the cough, cold etc and runny noses galour, its keepingme a bit busy. Yesterday was DS's YOP panel. So was a bit stressed out about that. But its done for now, for me, anyway.
So much been going on. Will catch up a bit later. Got to go out, not that I want to but we need loo rolls, tissues and milk! I will try to log on later and catch up. Got a tale about the council to relate... And yes I am still waiting for my money from them!!
