Hello, well its been ages since I came on here. I wont bore everyone with all the goings on. It would take a day to type it all in. The bug is still with everyone. (Except me so far anyway!). But finally most are on the mend. I unfortunately had yet another adverse reaction to the new medication, and had to stop ALL medication as they disagreed with each other. I am only just beginning to get my stomach settled after agonising pains! The down fall is that without any of my other medication I am struggling with the pains in my neck and arm, hip and leg, the backs not a lot better as I have been sitting in bed a bit more this week. (Had to hole up in my room to stop trying to do everything for everyone and especially from picking up the babies.).
The great news is that finally the Council have sorted out the rent, and we have received the back payment. So I already have the funds in place for the 1st of January. (And its staying in my bank, so I can relax more over Christmas.).
The problems with twin2 and her finances have not really been sorted, and twin 1 is just about on target, although I am struggling to get her to transfer the housing money when it arrives, and one of the payments has dissappeared into thin air!. But I can manage if she doesnt do that again!.
Biggest of Mooloo's has had a bit of an up and down time, and she is going to have to give up her rented house. So I may have to re adjust the room useage to let her and her BF have a temporary roof over their head in the new year!. DS will have to move into a smaller room. He was told today that its a possibility. He was not thrilled. But He will still be able to have a room too himself. The office may have to be it, unless the babies go back in with thier mums. As they spend much of the night (against my wishes) in with the mums anyway that would not really be much of a hard ship for a few months.
My sister has flown in from France yesterday, to see her newest Grandchild. Baby boy born to my neice on the 2nd, by Cesear. I saw all three today when I visited my parents. Biggest of Mooloo is now the only girl in the family not to have had a baby or be expecting one. (But I hope she doesnt rush it now that things are a bit up in the air about their home!).
I am taking BBJ to his other family back in Oxford tomorrow, and will see my BF. Havent seen much of him this last week as I was not well. He is too busy to come here unfortunately.
All the plans for Christmas have been a bit lost in everything, but I am hooping that there is enough funds in my Mums account, to order from MR T and have a delivery instead of dashing around supermarkets. I have ordered from Argos, at least they accepted Electron, so although I am way off the plans, I am not panicing yet.

Glad to hear that you are ok, was starting to worry a little as usually you find a little time just to up date everyone.
I will try a bit harder to pick up the laptop, but am not sure what I will do after Wednesday as Dad needs his Dongle thingy back as they are off to Yorkshire to see the rest of his family for Christmas. I still cant get the house internet to work on my laptop.

Sorry to hear things are not easy again Mooloo :( I really hope and pray that your medication is all sorted soon and you can get more mobile again.

If I was to look STOIC up in the Oxford Dictionary it would say 'Mooloo'!
Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!
  • Hi Mooloo

    Me again (always butting in!!)

I would be careful about letting twin2 retain her HB money as sometimes they ask for proof that it is being paid to l/l and also if she keeps it then twin1 might think she can also and I doubt you could cover both lots.

Is the missing payment properly missing from council bank to her's or has she spent it? If it's properly missing you must chase it up.

Also under LHA rules they have built in rules which allow payments to be made to someone other than the claimant if certain criteria is met. I believe one of these is vulnerability and also if proof that you cannot handle money.etc

I will double check the rules and come back to you.

  • Goodness, life never seems to get any easier for you. It seems that one thing gets sorted and then something else comes up to mess everything up for you again. Hope all does get easier for you again soon, must be a great weight lifted to know you already have the money for January rent.

I checked with the council and they said the cheque had been cashed. I couldnt see it in her bank when we looked. Will need to go through it all again. This week the funds have been successfully transfered into my account.
Just been trying to pay the council tax but thier phone line is faulty at the moment. I tried to do it through my bank, but the council doesnt come up on the details so that didnt work. And of course they are not accepting electron on their web site. Looks like I will have to get cash out and go and visit the office. Will have to wait until Monday now as I am soon going to take BBJ to see his other family.
The money for the rent has been paid and the missing payment would have been coming to me anyway. I paid the rent in advance for October and November. The coming cheques will be ready for the February payments. So hopefully I am now getting sorted.!! Its been a long road thats for sure.!

I was hoping to get most of the shopping sorted out by this week, and ordered on line. So many people don't accept electron so I am going to have to rethink some of my coming week.
Biggest of Mooloo's has rung me, she has been offered a new job, which sounds good, especially in this economic climate. I hope that she will consider it well, and that things start to sort themselves out for her as well.
I have started to re-take some of my medication today. See if I can settle things down again. Want to be sorted before the end of the year.! It would be nice to start next year with a positive.
Now its time for me to log off and pack up the baby and his belongings.
Hope everyone has a good weekend. I plan to relax as much as I can.

Well its Monday already. Was true to myself and I relaxed as much as possible over the weekend. Taking the baby with me on Friday worked well, and took the stress out of his Dad visiting here at our house.
Apparantly his Dad has found a job. Lets hope that that will focus him on something other then pestering here. We have also successfully managed the Christmas/new year plans. He has now decided that as he wants to be drinking on new year it would not be a good idea to have BBJ. So BBJ is only going to go to them for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. But they will have to bring him back on Boxing Day. (i wasnt thrilled that he would be with them for Christmas, but as he is only one I dont suppose hes going to remember much about Christmas anyway.).
Biggest of Mooloo is going to have a chat about the job offer she had, and then may indeed change jobs in the new year. As finances are difficult since her BF's accident, they are having to give up their house, and are planning to stay with us, while they sort things out. So all change here again in the new year.!! DS has agreed to move into the smaller office/room and we are going to turn the garage into a bit of a hang out den for them all. Thats not hard as this was once a show room so the walls are already lined and painted, and there are spot lights, electrics etc in their, and a false ceiling over the majority of the garage. I have a carpet that I had bought in the flat so thats going to go down on the floor.
I must admit I do wonder if life will ever be simple?
Now I must get myself up and dressed and go to visit my parents. I am going to try to get a Mr T delivery with their help. I also need to go and sort out the council as I couldnt pay my council tax in any of the website, or bank payment ways suggested by the council.
One of my old friends has asked if I can take her to the dentist in town this afternoon, and then I am needed to let the estate agent in to Biggest of Mooloo's house. All go for me. Thank goodness my tummy is settling and I am beginning to take some of my medications again. (Or I wouldnt be doing anything for anyone!!).

Well yesterday went by in a blur really. It took me ages to do the Mr T order, and the morning disappeared. I made my first Christmas card while at my Mums. Think its a bit late to do them all this year. But I think I may have to find the time for card making in the future, it was fun.
My Dad has been wonderful, and surprised me with actually paying for my delivery!! Wonderful Christmas present, as my order had come to £130!! This means that I will be way under budget for December!!:T
I took my friend into town to the dentist, and she bought Rolls and Cream cakes for lunch for us both. Then paid me in kind with two frozen chickens for taking her. :rotfl:
I let the estate agent in for Biggest of Mooloo's and then I spent an hour or so with my friends daughter, who is also my friend. (She used to be the twins babysitter when she was about 17). She is studying to be a nurse. Graduates next year I believe. She has asked me to make her Graduation Dress. So I have 11 months to get my sewing machine out again, and get designing, and making.
In the evening I didnt do anything that I was planing to do as I was too tired. But never mind.
Biggest of Mooloo is now not going foreward with the new job offer, as they are looking at the finances again before they decide if they can afford it.. So it may not be a safe enough bet.
I have to go to Physio in Oxford again today. Will be able to stop with BF and see him tonight. Come back tomorrow for the YOP meeting in the afternoon.
I am going to wrap the few presents that I have, and look to what I need to get me up to date and ready for christmas. I am trying to get myself organised after loosing it earlier in the move, and the ups and downs of the household in general.
Cup of tea and wrapping on the agenda now then.:xmastree: :xmassign: :xmassign:

  • Nice to see somethings are getting better for you Mooloo, I hope you all manage to have a great Christmas.
