I said something along the lines of...I purchased this item, it has now gone down in price by, I was very disappointed to see this and would appreciate a refund. Didn't make any reference to their terms and conditions, but I can't see how doing so would be a bad thing. Up to you how you word it really. I think I read somewhere that someone just emailed an order number and got a refund!
Thank you pinginal for that it's very much appreciated, I don't know why but the 'thanks' button has gone on my moneysavingexpert!0 -
It really is a well hidden secret. I looked all through the Amazon site and couldn't find it anywhere. My son bought a psp game only a week ago and they have reduced it by £5.50 which is a lot of money to him so I have sent an email requesting a refund. Will wait and see what happens. Thanks to everyone for the tip though.0

In the step by step instructions to claim the refund it says to quote the Amazon.co.uk order number, however I am only able to see the 'tracking number' is this what I need to quote or am I looking in the wrong place??0

Well, I have just sent them an email although I noticed that I placed the order on the 8th December! I shall have to wait and see what they make of it - it will only be under £6 but that is a lot when you are on a tight budget
Whatever happens thank you to the person who posted as it will be very useful to know for future purchases.0 -
Hi all
I requested refund late yesterday afternoon and had the reply within minutes, Just got a refund of 22.06. Some of my items had only gone down by 60p but when there's 5 or 6 of them it adds up. Anyway, better in my pocket than theirs!!0 -

It looks like you cannot get a refund on items bought within Amazon Marketplace, which I guess is fair enough. Got a few quid coming my way on the other 2 items, though. :-)
Iif you go to the link below and type in "refund 30 days" in the Search Help Topics box on the right you'll get a list of policies for each item of item sold:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=3149521
Saying this there isn't much info here and I've requested a direct link from them.
