Kari, I would not settle there. I ordered on the 24th November (!!) and have been offered a refund even though I only requested one yesterday. Though that was Amazon.co.uk, not Amazon.com.
Brilliant tip, thanks so much Martin!0 -
Emailed Amazon at lunchtime had a reply by 3.15pm. Will refund me the difference of £5.50. Great result. My son will be really chuffed. Thats £5.50 less he has to save up for his next game.0

I tried this on a Christmas present my husband bought for me. He paid approx £70 (Amazon as seller); it is now on offer at £51 but because it is now through their Marketplace, they will not refund us the difference. This is the reply we got from them:
The discounts we offer for items on our website do vary from time to
time. I've checked your order #*** and found this
item "Logitech MM50 Portable Speakers for iPod - White" is now offer
a greater discount from a Marketplace seller than at the time you
placed your order.
Please accept our apologies, but we are not able to adjust the price
of an order in instances where the greater discount is been offered
by a Marketplace seller.
Again, I am sorry for any disappointment that this may cause. Thank
you for shopping at Amazon.co.uk.
Needless to say we aren't very happy with Amazon and I would just like to warn others of this.0 -

I guess though that this is fair, if Amazon (themselves.... not the marketplace seller) had dropped the price you would have got a refund.... its a pretty good policy and we cant really expect amazon to refund any difference in price that others have chosen to sell at0 -

Lmao, I made all my purchases on Amazon and was hoping for about £50 back. But I just checked the prices compared to what I paid and overall if I called and complained, I would ow THEM around £10.
Thats right, the prices have all gone up for me :? weird.Rules, Rules, Rules .....0 -

A big thanks to the OP for this information. I sent an email yesterday morning but did not hear back and so emailed again last night. This morning I received an email informing of a refund on two items I ordered on 8th December, a refund of £6.70 :j It may not be a fortune but I am very pleased with it
I shall be checking this out in future. Thank you.:beer:0 -
