Thank you, that's exactly what I was after. Thanks for taking pity on a modern-day Luddite.0

I have the Amazon Watch List installed and it told me that a DVD i had bought just the day before had gone down by 50p, so I claimed it back and got the refund:T might not be much, but it will be interesting to see how much more I can save.
Thanks again for the tip.0 -

This is working so well, another £1 refunded yesterday from a January purchase.
The way I keep track is; when I buy an item I put exactly the same item in my shopping basket. This helps me keep an eye on it for 30 days. The date is noted when placed in the basket and I also get automatic alerts from Amazon when logging into my account as to any price change. Of course the money back deal is valid from despatch so some orders will get a few extra days from basket date. Alternatively just keep a spreadsheet with expiry dates for claims noted.0 -
Many thanks for this tip, just had £3 refunded on a £50 order... doesn't seem much, but it's 6% so I'm happy
Was emailed to confirm refund within an hour, and a confirmation of repayment five hours later. I'm genuinely impressed with Amazons service, and believe me, I'm as cynical as they come! First email below, some details changed to protect the guilty...
Dear Mr ronnus77
Thank you for contacting Amazon.co.uk.
The discounts we offer for items on our website do vary from time to time. I've checked your order #???-??????-??????? and found that we now offer a greater discount on "Powerball Neon White Pro Signature" and "Creative Labs EP-630/A Earphones" than at the time you placed your order.
We are happy to refund the price difference in cases where less than thirty days have passed between the date on which an order was dispatched and the time that an item is reduced in price on our site.
Therefore I have requested a refund of 3.00 GBP to your payment card. This amount reflects the difference between the price you were charged and the current discounted price. The refund should appear as a credit on your next bank statement.
Completed refunds information can be viewed when you visit "Your Account" once you've received a confirmation e-mail from us. Under "Where's My Stuff?" click "Go" next to "Open and recently dispatched orders" and sign in with your e-mail address and password. The refund information will be visible at the bottom of the relevant order's summary page.
Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience or concern this price change may have caused.
Thank you for shopping at Amazon.co.uk.0 -

I've just had 42.74 refunded today for a home theatre system that I bought for £152 that has gone to 109 - however, I used price protectr and they did NOT notify me of the change, it was only when I was on amazon I picked it up so I don't have much confidence in PP I'm afraid.0
