Just got £17.98 back from a couplr of different orders. MANY THANKS for the original post.
  • Many thanks for this, I was late reading your email this week, and didn't check it until this morning. I checked my amazon orders and one item (of 3) had been reduced by £2.00. Today was day 30 so immediately put in a claim and they have replied, saying they will refund the difference.

    RESULT!!!
  • I use the price protectr website for this, they've saved me a fortune in the past! http://www.priceprotectr.com/
  • After reading last weeks newsletter I contacted Amazon regarding an order I'd placed in December. I was a day over the 30 days but they refunded the difference anyway - no questions asked. A refund of £5 has gone back to my account.

Thanks again, worth noting as I use this website a lot so I'll definitely be checking again with future orders.
  • How exactly have you got that far? It keeps asking me how many items I'm returning, which is obviously none, and I can't get any further.
  • Is there a minimum limit that you can get refunded? Most of the things I bought seem to have gone up in price, but one has gone down - but by only 20p! Seems a bit daft to ask for that back!

Just tried it myself on a Dancing on Ice DVD (for my Mum!). Got the reply...
Please be informed that the item "Dancing On Ice - The Live Tour
2007" is currently available only with our preferred merchants.

Hence, we will not be able to refund the difference amount of the
    reduction.
Even though I bought straight from Amazon it was sourced out to another company in Jersey which meant I couldn't get my discount, £5 as well quite a bit for 1 DVD!
  • I bought a satnav for our son's xmas pressie from Amazon.co.uk on Dec 1 2007. Amazon subsequently reduced the price by 63 quid in January.
I've now sent them 2 emails via their refunds section at this link
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/contact-us/returns-and-refunds.html#csTop
but have heard nothing from them.
Does anyone have a similar experience or advice as to how I might get some cash back please

I bought an MP3 player on 5th December so its over the 30 days but I have asked for a refund anyway incase it was reduced within 30 days. If it works I might get up to £15 back - so thanks for alerting me to it.

    Please, someone?
