Bookmark Issue

Hi everyone,

We're going to switch the system to show Bookmarks in order of Latest Comments just like the old page.
There's nothing we can do to remove the excerpts just now, but our provider has promised some more options in a few months.

Today, I'm going to work through the settings on pages to change the Quick Links and Menus to the Latest Comment sort order, so you might see some differences on different pages over today.

The hardest thing to change is the link in the popup you get from clicking your profile picture. We have to wait for our provider to change that - hopefully some time today or tomorrow.

If you need to check the sort or change it yourself, there are controls at the top. We're aware they're not as obvious on mobile -

@MSE_Stephen unfortunately this has not worked for me and I am still being signed out when moving around the boards which is solved by clicking the back button on my browser but seems to have been dismissed as I am the only person who has reported it and MSE have been unable to recreate it. This only started the same day the change was introduced

Hi @Skint_yet_Again - we're sorry this problem is persisting. Please could we follow it up on your own thread so that it doesn't get mixed up with the more general question of the ordering of the bookmarked threads list?

It appears that the ordering fix is working on my laptop but it on my mobile. Puzzled as to why this would be?

@rtandon27 On mobile are you using the menu you get by clicking on your profile picture?
As mentioned in my post above, that link can only be changed by our provider so we're waiting for that to be done.

I'm using the short cut bookmarked on my phone - have just checked going the long way and it still does not sort correctly.

The old bookmark (https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussions/bookmarked) directs to the sort by Date Created (latest thread) sort order. I'm not sure if it will change when our forum provider changes the link in the profile popup.

To ensure you always get the sort you want, please click on 'Bookmarked Threads' in the Quick links and create a new shortcut of that.
