Hi there.
I have a Lloyds airmiles credit card which I am currently using as a balance transfer card, ie. i transferred some debt to this card as it had a 0% deal on balance tx for 6 months. I'm in the process of paying that off and am confident i can repay the whole amount in the remaining 4 months.
My wife now needs to transfer some debt as well. Her name is also on the credit card, and after making some initial payments towards this card, i have sufficient credit within this card to take care of her debt. If she does transfer to this card (as i'm still getting messages from Lloyds for further 0% on balance transfers), will she get a further 6 months from now for just her debt component.
Would this affect my target of paying off my share of the debt within the next 4 months.
Hope this is not confusing and someone can help.
Thanks

It really gives a lot of information regarding the credit card loans and I also do not have much more experience in this field but I am using the site which is useful to me regarding any type of query. The site plays a vital role in giving the brief detail about credit card and other type of loans.0

Hi everyone,
I'm new here and would really appreciate some help)
I have 2 credit cards, on one i owe about 2K and on the other zero. The zero card has offered me a 0% balance transfer for 12 months. My limit on this card is 6K. My question is can i transfer across 5K onto the card which i owe 2K thus leaving this card 3K in credit. I would then use this 3K to move into my bank account. Is this aloud, or am i breaking any rules here?? I just want to take advantage of the 0% offer as much as i can.
many thanks for any help i recieve))0 -
I'm finally on the home straight with clearing my credit card. I was hoping to have it paid off before it began to accrue interest in December but it'll take me to Feb to clear it completely but at least, for the first time in over 20 years, I'll be credit card free.
Tonight I read a letter from my CC company (Virgin) offering me an interest free balance transfer to October 2011. I have 3 bank overdrafts totalling just under £5k so I called the CC company to ask if I would be allowed to make a balance transfer to my bank accounts. It seems that they can't do that for me. Does anyone know if there are any good deals on balance transferring to bank accounts as opposed to credit/store cards? I intend focussing on clearing as much of the overdrafts as possible next year. I hope to be able to average £300 per month - more if possible. So far this year, I've managed to pay an average of £250 per month off the cc bill and I should be able to continue with that amount for the bank overdrafts. The idea is that I will close each account as I pay the overdraft and reduce the overdraft on the last one so that I'm not caught by temptation again.0 -
MBNA have just given me 0% for 12 months with a 5% handling fee, if that's of any interest.0

Hi guys,
I have 3 credit cards:
Barclaycard
Virgin
Halifax
The latter 2 are quite low in what I owe, but I would like to BT a chunk, or as much as possible, from the Barclaycard to another card.
What do you think would be my best option/s with current deals on the market?
My credit rating is reasonably good I guess.
Thanks in advance for any help I receive.0 -
