I'm guessing I can sell the share now as long as I don't withdraw the cash?
The email barrage was crazy!0 -
If someone is willing to give me £100 I don't find it a problem to receive 10 or 15 e mails: if I don't want to read them it takes less than a second to archive for reference. Better than to cancel them and in 3 months time come back to this thread and start complaining because something didn't work out (that would really be blooming ridicolous). In a few of them I found useful stuff, starting from 'how to withdraw money from your account'.

I followed the links and signed up for this. Transferred my £200 and my etoro account was blocked immediately. Anyone else had this?

I only got 1. I feel left out.

Same here. Will give it few days to turn up else close account.
Don't like etoro really. Interactive, HL, IG, Freetrade much easier to use and more shares, funds etc.

We need a lesson on how to withdraw money from our account? Is it tricky or something?

am i correct that the "cash account" is simply where it's sat after deposit. leave it there for 90 days and done?

All done , but I had to wait 24 hours for them to verify me,which was no problem.
Signed up through the MSE link and selected my shares (Amazon) , got a message “your almost there, we need to verify you this will take 1 working day” 1 day later verified and got a link to deposit, choose “simple bank transfer” and then the GB account option. then no fault of theirs but a bit of messing about with Nationwide security when depositing but done in 5 minutes. Shares appeared in the account 2 minutes later.
Could put the £200 into a minimum risk STMMF @ around 4% but so about £2 for 90 days but that then would probably incur buying and/or selling costs so will just leave it has deposited cash to withdraw mid September when the 90 days are up.

"…but that then would probably incur buying and/or selling costs…" etoro is a zero commission broker. You just need to be careful to select your GBP account as the source and destination account when buying and selling securities denominated in sterling.
