Recommendations for Best Cordless phone (merged)

I've got BT Calypso 225, although it's a few years old, I've found the hands-free to be good. It's a DECT phone and base station, which comes with answerphone. I cann't comment about recording, but a call can be shared with a corded phone on the same line.0

Many thanks, Adhoc. Had a quick look on Amazon. That phone has received 6 reviews - all very negative, with a total rating of just 1 star

Any other recommendations?SKIPS STONES FOR FUDGE0 -
Thanks midflight, I've had an eye on Panasonic, but couldn't justify replacing the 4 I've got (all currently working well). Although I might be replacing them sooner than I thought. I've nothing from personal experience to recommend, other than to mention what I've got, which does the job for me.0

Now the FRITZ!Fon MT-F from AVM should be good, expecially if it goes with a Fritz!box 7270 or above. I haven't got one (not sure they're available yet) and I've seen no reviews - but will keep an eye out.0

My home phones are old and need replacing, these are 1/2 price in Argos - have pretty good reviews

Does anyone know of any other good deals or recommendations on make/model please? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I personally wouldn't touch a cheap brand of phones. I've always stuch with BT phones as I know I can depend on the sound quality & ease of use.
Other highly recommended phones seem to be Panasonic & Philips. They always seem to rate highly in reviews. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
Thank you cattie
