Yes I've used them a couple of time, initially from their website and also from their Ebay shop, can recommend.
I'd go for Panasonic and would check out your local Tesco as they recently had Panasonic reduced.
edited to add that I added the bit about Panasonic without reading your thread properly or checking the link, the phones in the link look good especially for that money.0 -
Hi, I did think the £14.99 price for those phones was excellent but have not used the company before - so for this price it's better to go for the BT ones as apposed to paying more for another brand? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I can certainly recommend them and on one occasion had to send something back which was handled very efficiently although I can't remember what the initial problem was. Using them via Ebay they kept constant contact throughout the transaction.0

Thanks Edinburghlass. I don't have an ebay account, maybe I should set one up! Is it better to order using this method?
I've also seen BT Graphite 1500 Trio Digital Cordless Phone Answer Machine for £39.99

These ones are ex display but I guess they should be fine?

Just checked them on Ebay and the twin phone is £19.99 with free postage but paypal is required as well as an Ebay account and they may be refurbs. Postage on their website is £6.95 so not a lot of difference and no need to sign up to Ebay.
I usually like to pop into Tesco and see exactly what the phone looks like and what its like to handle.0 -
Thanks Edinburghlass for taking a look at ebay - I should really set up account sometime.
I doubt I'll get another cheaper and also a good branded product.
Did the ebay one say it's a refurb? I don't think the other one on their website was. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Just realised that the £14.99 were ex-display, not sure that matters too much?
Cordless Phone World do them for £19.99 with free delivery - just makes them a touch cheaper than the company in previous post...

Has anyone used Cordless Phone World please? I am thinking of purchasing an ex-display phone which comes with a 6 month warranty

I personally wouldn't touch a cheap brand of phones. I've always stuch with BT phones as I know I can depend on the sound quality & ease of use.
Other highly recommended phones seem to be Panasonic & Philips. They always seem to rate highly in reviews.
Problem with BT branded phones is quality is hit and miss as they just get various companies to supply them, so you could get one range which is excellent and many other ranges that are poor quality Chinese rubbish.
You can't simply rely on the BT brand name for it to be a good phone, as that is not the case. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0
