The question is OP do you want a full refund or the sofa fixed?

It would also cover the deposit.
So see how you go with ScS 1st. If they are not playing ball, then get the finance co involved.

thank you so much
It worries me that if we get repairs or replacements, will it repeat itself, we want to get the options clear in our minds, but i have no trust in it so probably want to get a refund and research other places friends have suggested sofology ??

the smaller measurement is of the 3 seater, top 2 are 2 seater. No there are no adjustable feet

In that case OP tell them the goods do not conform, you are exercising the short term right to reject, will not accept a repair and a refund is due within 14 days of your evidence of the goods not conforming (the faults) being given and they need to collect the sofa at their cost.
If they are like other big sofa retailers they’ll do their best to fob you off as they don’t want the sofa back, if they mess about tell the finance company the same (as they are jointly liable) and if they don’t refund within 14 days of you raising the issue with them you’ll raise an official complaint for being treated unfairly (complaints process will be on finance company website) and issue a letter before action and file through small claims.
It’s possible everyone will try to fob you but stand firm, issues reported within 30 days mean short term right to reject for a full refund and no obligation to accept a repair. Burden of proof is upon yourself, start simply with photos, if they come up with excuses then get an independent inspection done. Refund is due within 14 days of the trader agreeing a refund is due, this is matter of fact and must be done without undue delay.Store may offer an inspection but impartiality would be my concern.

There is a FB page " SCS sofas and furniture complaints" where you might be able to get advice from other customers who have had problems with sofas.
