OP
The best advice I was given in the same circumstances was you can get a full refund. If they offer to repair the damage, you should reject that too as you bought a NEW set of sofas, not refurbished ones.

Who gave you that advice?

Pretty standard OP, with short term right to reject burden of proof is upon yourself so them reviewing the proof you've provided is fine.
Post back once they've done that if you aren't happy with the response, Easter weekend so I'd given them until Monday week (the 13th) and chase again if no reply from the finance co.
Might be worth having a quick look online to see if there is a local furniture place/company that will inspect furniture, should they not be happy with your photos paying for your own inspection may well favour you and the (reasonable) cost of obtaining it should be refunded by the store/finance co (if that inspection agrees "faults" arising to the level of not of satisfactory quality with consideration given to price).

Here on this forum, consumer rights board. I stood my ground and the two damaged, poor quality sofas were collected and I had a full refund.

To be fair, it's been said multiple times already here on this thread, it's simply exercising the short term right to reject!

was that after the court claim?

It didn't need go to go to court in the end. I put my case and photos to the Furniture Ombudsman. I realise they are paid for by the retailer but worked in our favour.

hi again, had a call again today, they are not prepared to accept my 61 photos and insist on a report from their inspectors, as we know they are not impartial i have refused and still quoted the section 75 and short term right to reject and asked them to refund she said that is not an option without seeing the suite.
yes you can beat it :j - everyday is a bonus - use it well0 -
If you will not let them inspect the sofa, then find a independent 3rd party to do it. It will be part of your claim.
Without one then you are in the hands of FOS.
