Thank you. I'm still waiting for the eligibility confirmation text message from them - switched on 2nd April. I was looking at some of the posts online about the switch offer and some mention blue rewards and others don't. Apparently the press release thy had mentioned it but obviously the official webpage doesn't, so yes it shouldn't matter, but would be good to get some confirmation from anyone who has received the text message/reward payment and definitely didn't sign-up to blue rewards.

Can you please kindly advise if you signed up to 'blue rewards' (£5 p/month) before you received the SMS about the bonus payment from Barclays?

I opened a current account with Barclays about 10 days ago.
In the Barclays app today I saw a banner that said something like ‘You’re close to £200, switch your main account to Barclays’, so I pressed the link, completed the switch details as requested in the link and sacrificed my Triodos current account.
In the process it mentioned nothing about transferring D.Ds or paying in a specific amount, and nothing further about the £200, just details of how the switch would work and complete.Has anyone else seen the offer in the app as above, completed the switch, and been paid the £200.00?

The switch instructions on Barclays website mention I'd need the old debit card. But I don't have a debit card for the current account I intend to switch out from. Anyone know if the old debit card is necessary or not?

Didn’t need it for mine. You’re asked during the process if you have a debit card. Just select No.

My switch completed last week but I've heard nothing from Barclays about the switch offer at all. Hopefully I'll hear after my Direct Debits have been taken in the first week of May.

All it says is 'two active Direct Debits' Doesn't specify that money needs to come out through them?
